To help you visualise I made this Scott Bakula is Caitlin's dad or he's who I imagine he is but in this story he's what her dad looks like.

In the end Barry convinced caitlin to take the train because it would be a lot faster and it was good for the environment, but mainly becuase it was faster.

So far they'd been on the train for 8 hours it was one of those posh trains with carriages that had beds in and carriages with red velvet sofas it reminded him of the Orient Express.

How she'd gotten them train tickets he'd never know.

But here they were both sitting in th lounge area staring into nothingness while sitting with perfect posture and their hands folded neatly together in there laps.

They were sitting a few inches apart...they kinda looked like perfect dolls.

"This is the part where you tell me that everything is going to be okay" Caitlin said numbly

"Do you want this to be the part where I lie to you?" He asked turning to her

He wasn't going to lie to her anymore, then he already was and they both already knew that it wasn't going to be okay her dad was going to die.

Her shoulders dropped and she rested her head on his shoulder and Barry wrapped an arm around her.

"...do you want to know what I hate most about death? It's the fact that there just not there anymore but everything they once owned or made will be left behind, his remains will still be here on the earth but he won't be living he won't be able to-to" she began crying and Barry held her tighter.

"He won't be able to walk me down the isle he won't get to meet his grandchildren...once he's gone I'll still be here without him I'll be the only piece of him left behind his clothes will proably still smell like him and-" she chocked on a sob and buried her head in his chest.

"He's just going to be gone" she whispered

Barry laced his fingers threw hers and pressed a kiss to the top of her head "it will hurt when he's gone and I know that your hurting now but it will get better... eventually"

She let out a shaky breath "I want to go to bed"

Barry nodded wordlessly and let her hide her tear stained face, in his chest and they walked to there carriage.
