part 26.

I really hope you enjoy this.

And it might just be my hormones or something or the fact it's 4:51am and I haven't slept at all but I actually cried while writing this I'll tell you which part at the end.

This is a shorter chapter.

She huffed out a laugh "why?"

"How much do you think it will cost to pay a reporter to write an article in the news paper saying that you were never actually engaged to Myron it was just a false story reported by mistake?"

"There was half a page with my face on announcing my engagement to Myron on it, along with quotes from both of us "

"Well how about we just have a story in the papers about how you have to leave Myron because your crazy in love with me and it's true love  and we can just do a fluff piece about how you need to be true to your heart so that's why we eloped because we couldn't wait anylonget to be married to each other  and this story will be realised the day after we are wed"

"...that could work but I don't see why we have to get married"

"Your father's Will said you needed to be married to a husband of his choice or you lose your inheritance, your disowned and you get pulled out of school, I was the first husband of your father's choice"

"So I won't be disobeying my father's last wishes" she realised "and Myron can't do anything to stop us and neither can my mother if they don't know what we're doing" she realised

"Exactly, we could've gotten married like normal people but that would've angered a bunch of peolpe and we would be the first actual couple that wasn't on TV that someone shouted 'I object' at their wedding because I'm pretty sure that doesn't happen in real life unless your well...us"

She laughed "yeah... our relationship so far has been like a messed up soap opera"

"Soooo... Caitlin Elizabeth Snow will you marry me next Saturday?" He proposed

She grinned and opened her mouth to answer before he stoped her "wait! Don't answer just yet"

He climbed out of bed and grabbed his jeans from the floor and pulled out his wallet and took a ring out of it.

She giggled "why do you have a ring?"

"I-its a very long story and not that important right now"

He got down on one knee and she shuffled to the edge of the bed pulling the covers with her figuring doing this naked was weird, this was all weird.

"I want to do this right, after all the shit they've put you threw you deserve one normal thing"

She smiled trying to hold back the laughter.

"Caitlin Elizabeth Snow, I'm going to be honest here the first time I met you I thought you were some crazy do gooder who would just talk to me once then leave but you proved me wrong. I was stupid when we first met and I didn't trust you, the exact moment I fell in love with you was when I first woke up in the hospital you thought I was asleep you, were half asleep your self so you didn't notice I looked at you and you looked so worried about me you were doing that thing where you bite your lip when your wooried or somethings bothering you and you were holding my hand so tightly, I had never seen anyone so worried about me and in a weird way that made me happy because I had gone so long without anyone caring about me even my parents... you made me feel better you made me feel safe, thats the exact moment i fell in love with you i didn't relalise it back then but I do now..."

She smiled and tears started running down her cheeks.

"So far this year has been pretty crap for both of us but being with you makes it bareable, you make my life worth living again your an unexpected and a unexplainable phenomenon that just came bursting into my life one day with a smile a cup of coffee. Caitlin Snow you are too good for this world and you deserve more then I can give you but I promise I will never stop loving you, mainly because it's impossible and partly because I don't ever want to stop feeling like a love struck teenager whenever I look at you... So Caitlin Elizabeth Snow, will you do be the honour of marry me?"

She let out a breathless laugh as tears continued to roll down her cheeks "that-that is how your supposed to ask a girl to marry you"

Barry grinned up at her and sat on his knees so they were on the same level "so is that a yes?"

She nodded and laughed "yes" she kissed him and he slipped the ring on to her finger.

"I love you" the way he said it sounded like a promise.

"I love you too" the way she said it sounded like a pact.

Okay so like I said at the top I'll tell you which bit I cried at for some random reason.

It was the "a smile and a cup of coffee" part because I have no idea how I come up with this stuff it all just kinda flows onto my phone screen.

And hahaha I'm not posting this till I wake up because I feel like an evil genius and I'm sleep deprived.
