"Oh isn't this just adorable" Nora cooded picking up a baby grow that said 'i love my daddy'

Caitlin raised her eyebrows slightly "uh...sure" she said awkwardly.

After their even more awkward lunch which consisted of looking at Barrys baby pictures and draeing up some plans for a wedding dinner and reception, they'd decied to go shopping and for some reason they were in a clothes store while Nora fussed over baby clothes Caitlin had texted Barry an 'SOS' and he'd replied saying he'd get there as fast as he could.

"Mrs. Allen I'm not pregnant"

"Oh please dear call me Nora, or mum because we're family now"

Caitlin bit her lip "Nora, I'm not pregnant"

"Not yet"

Oh dear God where was Barry?!

She looked towards the store entrance ans as if by magic Barry came in.

She waved him over and the moment he got to her side he wrapped an arm around her waist and she covered her hands over his and gripped his hand tightly so he got the message.

"Mum" he smiled and spotted the baby grow in her hands "...you expecting?"

She laughed slightly "no, no just looking... what are you doing here?"

"Caitlin text me and asked if i needed anything while she was out and I didn't know how to explain to her what I needed so I decied to just come down here"

Nora nodded and looked down at there joint hands "Caitlin and I drew up some grest plans for the reception and dinner, maybe you'd like to look them over?"

Barry smiled down at his wife "sure"

8 months later (I'm sorry for the big time jump but what else did you want me to write?)

"Is she here?" Caitlin asked nervously as she fiddled with the pins in her hair.

"No honey, I'm sorry" Barry said placing a hand on her shoulder

She stared at them in the full length mirror and leanded back into him.

"There's still time" she said quietly 11

"Cait" he said softly "I don't think your mother is coming"

"But its our reception" she said weakly

"I know" he whispered "but we can't win them all"

She bit her lip and her eyes welled with tears "I just thought because-" she relased a shaking breath "I'm her daughter and we're only ever going to do this once you know?"

"Yeah"

He kissed her cheek "take all the time you need but everyone is waiting"

"Okay"

Thrys had this planned for months her mither hadn't come to the dinner last weekend that was just for family.

The reception was for family and friends and friends of Barry's parents she hadn't seen her mother since the funeral when then she hadn't spoken to her.

Caitlin had tried her hardest she'd gone to the house sevral times and her mother had ignored her and eventually gotten a body guard to keep her away from the house

She'd broken down and if it wasn't for Barry she 4would've completely fallen apart, he stayed up with her while she cried and made sure she ate when all she wanted to do was cry and sleep.

She'd lost her father and becuase she refused to be her mothers puppet she'd lost her to.

Barry told her it was for the best and he was right, her mother was toxic and controlling and Cairlin didn't need that in her life ecspecailly not while she was grieving.

The media eventually died down after a few months when Caitlin didn't start showing a bump.

She'd graduated with 2 PHDs and they'd celebrated by going on a honey moon to Costa Rica for 2 weeks.

There marrige was going well and they planned on moving out of the apartment and into a suburban home closer to Mercury labs where she was going to start working at the beginning of the year.

Barry had finally began to take a role in his families company after lots of persuasion from his father and he was going to take over his fathers position as CEO in a few years.

Barry had also set up his own charity to help the homeless, no one knew that he himself had been homeless and for the time being he wanted to keep it that way.

Caitlin fixed her apperance in the mirror before putting on a fake smile and going down stairs.

They were having the reception in a big fancy hotel and she and Barry were staying in the honeymoon sweet upstiars.

When she made it into the function room she was pulled into convasations by her cousins and other peolple she didn't knoe until she finally felt a firmillar hand on her arm gently tugging her towards the dance floor.

"Well hey there pretty lady, where have i seen you before?"

A smile tugged at her lips "I don't know maybe it was at that wedding thing we did?"

"Oh yeah, I knew I'd seen you before its just been so long" he grinned and leaned down and kissed her.

Everyone broke out into applause and Caitlin quickly pulled away and blushed.

"I love you" barry said pulled her closer as they continue to sway to the slow music.

"I love you"

"So... I was thinking maybe after we finish with this reception thing we could do that wedding night thing..." he trailed off

She smiled "Mr.Allen I like the way you think"

"Oh yeah?"

She hummed

"well its a good job you married me then"

Okay so I know that this seems rushed becuase it is. I just had no idea what to write so you get this brain... splatter.
