Indie's pov
I walk out of the class that just finished and find myself following the crowds of people, I'm sure I'll find myself wandering down the hallways and heading to the exits outside to find this table full of people—boys with tattoos, maybe some girls, hopefully more girls like Ruth.
As I walk with the crowds of people I am startled by a hand tapping my shoulder, I look next to me at the touch and smile with relief.
"Ruth." I breathe with relief, she smiles and then chuckles.
"Luckily I bumped into you through the hallways, this way we can make an entrance and I can introduce you to everyone." I hear the excitement in her voice as we turn a corner around the hallway together and head for the school oval apparently.
It doesn't take long to pass the cafeteria and walk out the large doors leading to the field full of people. We turn a small corner and I find myself growing nervous as we make our way to the table full of people. The area is closed off from people seeing, it seems like somewhere people go to hide.
As we make it to the table, it's clear there is more boys than girls, there are a bunch boys and a couple of girls, Ruth, me and this other girl next to one of the boys with curly brown hair.
"Guys, this is Indie." Ruth slightly snaps at them, I figure it's just how she is talking to them to get their attention, they all seem to be doing their own thing. When I sit down, they start to pay attention to my presence. Some of the other boys say nothing, a couple walk off to the field—I'm assuming to play football.
"Indie, cool name, I'm Louis." A boy introduces himself and takes a sip of his energy drink, he has brown hair that's pulled into a quiff, kind of like a side fringe. He has a whole adidas outfit on, I can't say I'm not surprised, he looks like he belongs on an adidas cover magazine or something, they all do.
"Hey." I smile back to him, I put my bag down and sit besides Ruth. I bite my lip as I grab out a pear from my bag and start to eat it. I take a large bite of it and look at the table full of people, they really don't seem to care that I'm here, it kind of is a relief, I'd rather the attention he elsewhere.
"So, you're new, how do you like the place so far?" Louis questions, I finish my mouthful of banana.
"Oh, I'm just kind of going with the flow at the moment, I like it here but it's different from back at home." I admit, all their heads all peek up a little as they listen to my accent. My eyes move over to the girl sitting next to one of the boys with curly hair and a lot of tattoos.
"Holy shit? There's someone else in this school with a cool accent." An Irish voice beams from behind me, I turn and see a boy with dyed blonde hair. He has just walked to the table, he sits down close to Ruth and I. I go to thank him but my mouth shuts when the curly haired boy with the tattoos interjects up.
"A fucking annoying one.." I hear one of them mumble quietly, I look over to him and feel taken back at his comment. I can tell he doesn't like me at all, he was probably the one in the carparks this morning, I didn't get a good enough look. His green eyes look to mine and he clenches his jaw slightly. He is the boy next to the girl, his curly brown hair is a little messy but somehow he makes it look like it's a style. I look to Ruth and I watch her roll her eyes at him, she doesn't say much, it's as if she is silently telling me just to ignore him.
"Harry what's your problem?" Louis questions him, I feel the intense stares on me, then back to the to the tattooed boy with the curls.
Harry.
