Indie's pov

Liam had started his car up and was driving down the road, I had added my house address into his google maps on his phone and he was following it to my house, we sat there with no conversation sparking up for a small period of time.

"So.. you and Harry have trouble?" I break the silence. I feel more nervous than I should, Harry's defensive mood towards Liam makes me wonder what he's done for Harry to get so upset with his presence.

"He doesn't like me." Liam chuckles to himself.

"That makes the two of us." I give him a small grin, feeling a small pressure taken off of me.

"He doesn't like you?" He raises his eyebrow, I nod. I'm surprised that he seems surprised by this, it's not like Harry treats anyone else too different.

"Not one bit, he treats me like crap and I have no idea what I did to make him hate—well.. dislike me." I admit, I remember Harry's clear words.

"Well, he doesn't like me because he has this grudge against me. I come to parties a lot and I used to go to the school, I got kicked out for certain stupid reasons that Harry was involved in and now here I am homeschooling because it's better for my education." He almost scoffs, he looks kind of upset about it.

"I guess it's better than being around Harry now." I try to attempt to make him feel a little bit better about his situation.

"Yeah that's a positive, can't dodge him at parties though can I?" He laughs, I nod at him and watch out the road as he drives, he turns the radio on for a little.

"So, I'll take tonight as a clear indication that you're not going to his party on Friday night?" I ask as he turns the musics volume down to listen.

"Well, it's open invite.." His voice slightly trails off, It reminds me of Niall's exact words.

"Yeah, that's what Niall said." I chuckle to myself.

"We should totally just ditch it and do something else." He suggests, I'm not entirely sure if he's joking but I decide to laugh and go along with it.

"That doesn't sound like a bad idea." I joke with a smile, he seems to keep his eyes focused on the road as he turns down my street.

His car stops in front of my house and I stare at it for a second. He looks to me, then to the house in the dark, the street lights only just making it visible in the night.

"Thank you so much Liam, I don't know what I would have done if you weren't there." I thank him as I step out of his car, he gives me a genuine smile.

"Hey, anytime you need, I'll see you again soon." He assures me, I smile and shut the door, I make my way up to the front porch and grab my keys out my coat pocket, I quickly unlock the door as quietly as I can. I turn the metal handle and hear a small click, I quickly open up the door and step inside, locking it behind me in the darkness.

My body jolts and turns around when the lights flick on, my pares right both stand there in their pyjamas. My dad looks like he is ready to pass out but my mum.. she looks ready to have a serious conversation.

"Hi.. mum, hi dad." I bite my lip as they both clearly look annoyed. "I'm sorry.. I didn't think you guys would be awake." I mumble as I keep my coat around me tightly.

"And you didn't think we'd be here waiting for you to get home on your first school day, being at your first party?" Mum speaks with clear annoyance. They don't seem angry though, they should be angrier than this.

"I'm sorry," I sigh, my hand comes to my forehead and I scratch it. "I didn't drink, I promise."

"Honey, we don't care about you drinking, as much as care about you taking care of yourself and not getting drunk, not showing up to the house at 1:00am before you have to get up and head to school at 8:00am." My mum stares at me, I bite my lip. We had already had the 'drinking' talk and they're okay with it as long as I'm careful with the amount I'm drinking, I'm almost eighteen though so I won't have to be dealing with all of this soon. I know they're only looking out for me though.
