Muggle World, the Restaurant
Wendy picked up the brown notebook from her orange backpack. She grab a simple black pen and started writing:
22 May 1999
Meet Severus Snape for the second time. He seemed a bit tense but after talking to him he turned out to be a lot nicer. He seemed to have a couple of drinks and was very short while speaking. Stressed about something?
Gamila Woodblood
The spy moaned in frustration as she put the dot under the question mark. A week had past and the only thing she had found out was that he lived in the north of the city. She packed up her stuff and said goodnight to Bryan before leaving the restaurant.

Muggle World, Open Street
The strawberry blonde woman was walking slowly down the street. The sun was resting on the horizon and gave the city an orange warm light. It wasn’t too hot or too cold, just perfect.
She was thinking for herself. She needed to more productive, never had she found out so little about her target ever before. In just a couple of days she was meant to report at the office and tell her boss what she had found out and if there was need to continue with the investigation. Wendy sigh deep, this was hard.
As she continued walking down the street she made up another plan, how to get to know Severus Snape. Tomorrow she was going to search through every single street in the north of the city. Severus Snape was going to be captured she thought for herself and smiled lightly.

Muggle World, Wendy’s Apartment
The Next Day
Wendy woke up feeling more energetic than usual. She had promised herself that she would track down Snape today. She opened the cabinet and put down a glass on the counter. When she tried to poor some juice in the glass she missed the glass and the orange juice splashed onto the counter. “Fuck” she swore high and grabbed a towel. Why was she always so clumsy?
After cleaning up the mess she made and eaten breakfast she went to her wardrobe. Wendy picked out some suitable clothes. A pair of jeans and a light brown belt, a white shirt with green stripes on it and then a black pair of shoes with a low heel. She braided her hair simply and then put on a red beret to hide her head from the sun. The backpack she threw over her shoulders and then Wendy was out the door.

Muggle World, Open Street
Snape was walking down the street on his way to a muggle-shop he fancied. He wanted to buy some more muggle-litterature before leaving for work again. The professor found the books to be quite interesting, even those who were inspired by the wizarding world. They usually gave him a great laugh.
On the street was also Wendy walking, she studied the environment, the people and the stores surrounding her. Where could be a suited place for the famous potions master to hangout? The sun was starting to get stronger and she dived in to the closest store searching for protection of her sensitive skin.
It was a good decision because right in front of her stood a tall man with black hair and a big raven lookalike nose. She let out a gasp, the spy was surprised. She did not expect to find the former death-eater inside of a muggle bookshop. Snape looked up from the book he was holding in his big hands. In front of him stood the waitress he met last night.
The strawberry blonde woman blushed, this was not a good way to start a conversation.
“Sorry sir, I didn’t see you” she began tentative.
“No harm done” the professor said calmly. Wendy smiled at him. Severus Snape looked back at her, she was absolutely stunning and he did not regret giving her the extra pound last night.
“Did you enjoy your dinner last night?” she asked trying to start a small talk. “Yes, even tho I didn’t have much to eat” he said with a small smile.
“My name is Wendy, Wendy Colton” the waitress said shyly.
“Severus Snape” Snape shook her hand.
“Thank you for the tip last night”
“No problem” he said and gave her a light smile
“You like books?” he asked.
“Yes, I surely do” Wendy was eager to keep the conversation going.
“Tell me, which of Shakespeare's work do you like the most?” Snape asked Shakespeare… Shakespeare… Wendy was going through her mind trying to remember something about the muggle-name Snape just gave her.
“Hamlet” she said quick. It was something about a danish prince and his father.
The professor nodded at her, he was happy with the answer. It seemed like he and the waitress had a lot in common. It just so happened to be his favorite to.
“I was thinking of buying a new book, any suggestions?” Wendy asked him.
“Hum…” Snape looked around him. “Follow me” the black-haired man started walking to a shelf right across the one they were standing. Wendy followed him. His gaze search through the shelf looking for something she probably never heard of.
“This is not something people in our age usually reads” he began and pulled out a thin book from the shelf. “But it’s definitely worth a try” Snape handed her the book.
“Mio, my son?” she looked at the book skeptical. “I know it is a kids book but I really like it, I think you would to” the professor let his arm rest against the darkwood shelf giving him a very confident look. The spy could spot a small smile resting on his lips. She started laughing.
“Are you trying to trick me?” she asked and laughed.
“No, I’m serious. Give it a try!” Snape laughed.
“Alright. I will give it a try” Wendy said with a smile on her lips.
“Good, I would like to hear your opinions on it. How long do you think it would take you to read it?” Wendy looked at the book, it was thin and she estimated that it would only take her a couple of days to read it, even tho she wasn’t a bookworm like she pretended to be.
“I don’t know… Maybe like three days?” she said and looked at him in wonder.
“Would you like to meet me here in three days then?” he asked Wendy.
“Yeah sure” she answered and smiled. Time to report at the office she thought.
