Chapter 14

Muggle World, the Restaurant

Wendy picked up two glasses of beer from the bar. Bryan was also working this evening and gave her a big smile.

"Everything is going good?" he asked her while placing the two glasses on her tray.

"I'm very hot but otherwise everything is good" the strawberry blonde woman picked up the tray, gave Bryan a quick smile and then walked away to the table.

She was serving two girls, one with black hair and red lipstick and another one with brown hair and pink dip-dye.

"Excuse me" the red lipstick woman said and looked at Wendy. "I have question, do you know the bartender?" she asked and then looked over at Bryan.

" Ehh... Yes. I do" the waitress placed the two beers on the table.

"What's his name?" Wendy could feel her cheeks burning and she could imagine them turning red.

"Bryan" she answered shortly wishing to leave the table as quick as possible.

"Bryan" her costume bit her red lip and looked at her friend. "Cristin, I think we need to talk to Bryan after our meal"

The brunette laughed and took a sip of her beer.

"I'll be right back" the uncomfortable waitress walked away fast.

Muggle World, the Restaurant

An hour passed and now the two ladies was sitting at the bar talking with Bryan who seemed to enjoy the attention. Wendy self was watching the door hoping Severus Snape would show up but he didn't show a sign of presence during the entire evening.

The spy had wished that she would have met the suspect on more time before tomorrow. "I guess you can't have everything" she whispered for herself while tying her shoe.

She put her backpack on "Goodnight Bryan" she shouted.

"Goodnight Wendy" he shouted back from the bar.

"Stop shouting" shouted their manager Leila. Bryan and Wendy started laughing and she waved her hand at him while walking out from the restaurant.

It was still very hot outside but more reasonable, she carried her jacket. It was just a normal black jacket, nothing fancy. She let down her hair from her ponytail and sighed, it was always nice to let it rest.

Muggle World, Wendy's Apartment

She opened the window above her desk and sat down. The warm summer night air filled the room and Wendy took a deep breath. It was something about the air in summer that was very special but could not been describe.

The spy put away all things that wasn't about the mission and Severus Snape, afterwards she quickly develop a massive mountain with papers and notes of her work on the left side of her desk. In front of her she spread out some folders to help her get more organized.

From the small pot (used as a pencil case) standing in the window she grabbed a blue marker. On the first folder she wrote "Research" were she put all the paperwork about the research she had done about him, things that were personal. Like his relationship with Lily Potter.

Second one she called "Information" that contained all information you could get at the ministry. Stuff like birth, parents and so one. Third one was called "Thoughts" Wendy's ideas and thoughts.

"Notes" became the fourth one and lastly was "Evidence" which at the end was empty. Something very annoying.
