You awoke the next morning with your head resting on Loki's bare chest and a blanket over the two of you. You listened to Loki's heartbeat as you started to trace shapes on his stomach. "Y/N, stop that. Your king is trying to sleep." Loki spoke, putting his hand over yours. "Sorry my king," you sat up, using the blanket to cover your chest. "What are you doing?" Loki asked. "Your king never said that you could leave." Loki forced you back down on the bed, putting his arm around you, pulling you closer to him. "It seems as if you're the one giving pet names now," Loki said, chuckling. You rose your eyebrow, confused.

"Sweetheart, I know you remember."

Was that not a dream? Loki began to stroke your hair. "My love, everything that you saw, it isn't a dream, it happened but in a different timeline. In an alternate universe." Loki explained. "I put us in another timeline, where we could love each other freely."

"What happened in the other universe?" You asked. Loki smiled sadly. "Our love story in that universe is terrible. We would have continued to be on the run and in the end, the running wasn't worth it. You died trying to protect me. Thor killed you and I.. I killed Thor, too angered at what he had done. The world began to crumble. Literally."

"Switching here was a great idea, my king." You laughed as Loki nodded in agreement. "How many universes are there?" Loki shrugged. "A lot."

"How many of them involve us falling in love with each other?"

Loki smiled. "All of them. You were always meant to be my queen and I was always meant to be your king."

"I love you, Loki."

"I love you, Y/N"

"Lokiiiiii!! Mother's not so happy with the fact that you slept with Y/N" Thor sang from outside the room. "How would you even know if I slept with her?" Loki yelled in response. "You need to work on where you transport these things, brother. Both of your clothes are literally outside your room. "

"WHAT SO HAS EVERYONE IN THE PALACE SEEN MY LINGERIE?!"
