Y/N

You could tell Loki was getting uninterested in the show you were watching when his eyes wondered to you and stayed on you for a long time. "Am I that interesting?" You asked, meeting his gaze. "No, I was just observing you. Letting questions plummet through my mind as I continue to watch you." You laughed slightly. "Totally not creepy. What type of questions?" Loki shrugged. "I'm questioning everything I know about you and things that you are yet to do." What does he mean by 'everything I know about you'? "Loki," He gave a slight nod. "Why are you here, Loki? Aren't you supposed to be in Asgard?" Loki breaks your eye contact. He sighes, "I was expecting for you proclaim your loyalty to me, not that." Loki stays silent, staring at his fingers.

"You don't have to talk about it, if you don't want to. I mean, I'm a pathetic Midgardian, why should I interfere with a King's business?" You smiled, poking his shoulder. Your statement made Loki smile. "Quite the charmer. It's not the right time for you to know, sweetheart. " You nodded. "Alright, my king." You decided to please Loki just for the night especially after you asked that question. You felt guilty for upsetting him.

The next morning, you were awoken by loud sounds of clanking. "WAKE UP, SWEETHEART! WE'RE GOING SOMEWHERE!" You groan, placing your pillow over your head. "I have work, Loki." You lied, pressing the pillow into your face more. "I know you're lying. You cannot fool me. Now get up and be ready in 10 minutes or I'll have to undress you myself." I wouldn't mind that. Your eyes snapped open. Y/F/N YOU ARE IN SO MUCH TROUBLE FOR THINKING THAT. You sat up, removing the pillow and throwing it at a smirking Loki who held a pot in both hands. Loki vanishes before the pillow hits him. You freshened up, grumbling the whole time.

You were 15 minutes late from the deadline Loki gave and honestly, you could not care less. What's the worst he could do? You skipped towards Loki innocently with a smile on your face. "For being 15 minutes late, there would be consequences." You shrugged. "Like what? Give me your best shot." You challenged, bringing your face close to his. Loki grabbed your chin, pulling your face towards him so that your lips were only a few centimeters away from each other. "For 15 days, I get to sleep in the same bed as you. Seeing that we would share the same bed, we would share the same room." Loki pulled away from you, walking out the door. You stood there, shocked. Oh no. Not sleeping in the same bed as Loki. This is worse than death.

You walked out and closed the door behind you, locking it. "Where are we headed?" You asked, covering your mouth as you yawn. "I would like you to show me around," Loki said, turning to face you with his hands behind his back. You nodded, making an 'O' shape with your mouth. "It's pretty boring here," You admitted, walking ahead of Loki. Your home was away from the busy city and you liked it. You did not have to listen to the annoying sounds of the city and can have peace. Well before Loki arrived. "Would you like to go to the cit-" "NO!"

His sudden reaction made you bite the inside of your cheek. God damn it, Y/N. Stop upsetting him! "I'm sorry, I just thought you would.." You trail off, continuing to walk. It was silent as you walk down the deserted road. You came to a halt as you spotted the large tree that you were too familiar with. You pointed to that tree, smiling. "Does that tree have meaning to you, Midgardian?" You turn to look at Loki. You were about to scold him for calling you Midgardian but then he smiled and nodded towards the tree. "Tell me about it, I'd like to hear the importance this has to you." You rose an eyebrow. "Why? So that you can destroy it?" You teased. Loki took your comment seriously and shook his head. "No, I.. I would not destroy it.. If.. " Loki's voice went softer and softer, making it difficult for you to hear the last part of his sentence. Loki seemed confused at his sudden change of attitude. Before it got even more awkward, you began to explain to him the importance of the tree.

"I love the stars, you see. So I had this crazy idea to watch stars from on top of a tree and I was really close to this one girl, she loved the idea. We planted it together. Unfortunately... She passed away before we could watch stars together. It's really precious. Sometimes I climb to the top of this tree and admire the stars from there. Sometimes there would be squirrels and we'd admire it together. It's so beautiful, it's so peaceful. The cold breeze touching your skin, making out objects with the stars," You smile to yourself as you gaze upon the tree.

"We should watch the stars together.. Sometime.." You shyly said, blushing as you move your gaze to Loki. Loki nods, "Of course, sweetheart. That would be delightful. " Loki pats your shoulder. "Shall we continue on our journey?"

You smiled. "We shall."
