Y/N

You and Loki had spent the day viewing the different places you often visit. He looked so interested in every story you told him that it made your heart flutter. No one ever listened to your stories and always deemed them to be stupid but Loki.. Loki made you overjoyed. It felt as if all those times your stories had been insulted was worth it. Loki made it worth it. "You have a great interest with stars. Even in your room, I saw a stack of books about stars." You nodded, giggling. "My favourite constellation is 'Cassiopeia'. Do you want to hear the story behind it?" You asked, eager to share the story of the constellation. "Perhaps you can share it once we are in bed?" Loki suggested as he took off his jacket once he got into the house. I nodded, "go and change first, I'll just make us drinks." Loki went up the stairs and into your room without another word.

You hummed to yourself as you made a drink for Loki and you. If Loki actually cooperated with you, he was actually pleasant to have around. You check the time on your phone. 1.03am. Time did move fast. Or maybe you just told too many stories. It technically is not your fault. Having kept to yourself for so long, it was nice. Nice to finally have someone listen. You went on your phone and did some online shopping for Loki. He did not want to go to the city and you pitied him. He had to go around wearing his armour. The trousers, shirt and jacket were all just an illusion as he told you earlier.

There was a knock on your door. It was one in the morning, who could be knocking on your door? The knocks grew louder. You made your way to the door, grabbing one of your heels. "I'm not gonna end up as the character who dies in the first 5 minutes of Supernatural, not today." You mumbled to yourself as you turned the handle of the door. "I've already gone through the irritating God Of Mischief, what's the worse that could happen?"

You opened the door, immediately pushing the heel of your heels to the persons shoulder. The person had quick reflexes and stopped the heel before it hit her, she took the heel from you and threw it back inside. "I'm not here to hurt you," the female said. "I'm Natasha Romanoff, I need you to come with me." She grabbed your arm and began to drag you out of your house. You forced your arm out from her grip. "Look Natasha, I don't appreciate you dragging me out of my house at 1am. If you want to talk, talk here." Natasha scoffed and crossed her arms. "Fine. Loki. Where is he?" How does she know about him? "I'm sorry? Loki?" You faked a laugh and shook your head. "Wrong place. Look for him in Asgard." You shut the door but Natasha stopped the door from closing using her foot. "Look, Y/N, I know you know where his whereabouts are." Natasha said, slamming the door back open. "How do you know my name? If you don't leave, I'm calling the police!" You threatened, praying that your voice does not betray you and  would start mumbling all your words. "Fine, fine. Y/N, I believe you, okay? I believe that you don't know him. But if you ever see him, please give me a call." Natasha handed you a card with her number on it. "Why are you looking for something that doesn't exist?" You questioned, tilting your head. Remembering that you were supposed to be threatening, you glared at Natasha and pushed her out the door and closed it. You locked the door and went to the window, making sure Natasha was walking away. Natasha hops into a car and is driven away. You exhaled deeply.

Why was she looking for Loki? How did she know you?  Several questions ran through your head but one kept repeating. Why did you feel the need to protect Loki?  "Sweetheart, is the drinks ready?" you turn around to face Loki. Nervousness covered his face. You went to the kitchen, retriving the drinks you made. "Loki, what did you do?"

Loki took a deep breath before sighing. "It isn't the right time. Please, trust me on this," Loki said, his tone so soft and fragile. "And please, protect me." You looked into Loki's eyes, looking for any hint of mischief. You nodded, "I'll do my best." He suddenly lights up at your response. He grins and takes a sip of his drink. "Are you still going to tell me the story of Cassiopeia?" You laughed slightly. "Of course, finish that drink first."
