The Massacre Continues

"Chan, can you help me with that one...? Uh, number 41. I am having some difficulties in understanding the question itself...!" I said as I handed the ginormous and immensely heavy book over to Chanyeol.

"Hmm, oh yeah! That one's a tricky one. Let me explain: there's this factor that-"

"... you hear about that 13 year old who's been found dead somewhere near Paris ?"

"Oh my God, totally! Like this world is no longer safe anymore...! Oh my gosh!"

As Chanyeol was going to enlighten me with his explanations, he got caught up in some girls' gossip. I ended up lending an ear to their conversation too but they moved away before I could grasp any more details. However, that one phrase I heard was enough to give me the chills!

"BOO! Good morning Chanyeol! I missed talking to you, you know..! Those bozos are not worth my attention, huh! I hope you are fine...!"
That voice and hair flip immediately made me uncomfortable and utterly disgusted; Trisha just could not see Chanyeol in my presence, could she ? And was I invisible ? What harm was there in greeting me too...? Not that I cared about her fake words of concern either. In the end, it was for the best that she did not greet me; at least for once in her life, she was true to herself and her feelings (that is, her hate for me). But I was not going to that slide away that easily. If she was having some troubles in grasping the fact that Chanyeol was mine and that she had simply no chance with him, then it was my duty as her fellow classmate to make her understand that simple matter.

"Oh, a very good morning to you Trisha! How have you been ?" I sarcastically blurted out. "We are very much fine, thank you! What bad, I mean what good wind brought you here ?"
I made this little mistake on purpose to make sure that she understood that I was firstly, really annoyed with the fact that my presence had been ignored (not that I cared but it was bugging me, you know!?!?), and secondly, that she was not at all welcomed at the moment. Meanwhile, Chanyeol was desperately trying to hold in a chuckle. I swear, he could have supported me too, for once...!

"Oh... hi", she simply and dryly replied.
What the...!?!? I immediately frowned at Chanyeol who was threatening to burst into laughter anytime soon. If he was going to keep quiet like a poor, helpless lamb while I was getting  insulted, then he was going to get an earful from me!!

"What do you want Trisha ? Be done with it", he finally let out after controlling his laughter.
And that was all he could come up with...! What was I expecting from such a derp after all..!?!? Did he not understand that I could not stand that girl, at all!? Oh, why would no boy come talk to me so that he would feel jealous and over-possessive...!?!?

Trisha pulled up the chair closest to Chanyeol but before she could sit, Chanyeol moved his chair closer to me and wrapped his arm around my shoulder. Ah, a decent move at least...! I smiled at Chan to let him know that I approved of his bold move and that he should continue to do so in front of her. He only smiled, but I was certain that he got the message and was ready to do more if need be. No need to mention that look of deception and anger on Trisha's face; it was always so pleasantly fulfilling to see those expressions of despair and hate on her face...!

"I caught you overhearing those girls' talks so I guessed that you were not aware of that little piece of information", she replied while managing a fake smile of happiness. Should I mention that upon looking at me, her smile faded away, and that somehow, that terribly pleased me...? You guys probably guessed it, haha...

"Yes, we were intrigued by that. So, you are here to tell us some more ? Oh how nice of you!" I exclaimed. I wanted to know more on that matter, but I just had to make her angrier and more hateful towards me; I had to make her know that Chanyeol was mine, and mine only, and that I did not like share my goods with just anyone.

"Yes, that's nice of you to inform us. What actually happened to that teenager ?" added Chanyeol. It seemed that he finally got a grasp of the situation, and understood that I wanted to know more about that incident.

"Oh well, it's just another incident involving drugs, like the ones that have been happening lately. This poor girl, Theresa I think, was found dead in the container of an abandoned truck. And the most astonishing thing was that the truck was full with drugs!! Pouches of crack cocaine, heroin, methamphethamine and I don't what more, were found inside the container. The cause of the girl's death is obviously suspected to be an overdose of drugs, but nothing has been found in the driver's cabin that could lead to any suspect yet."

"Wow! That's one hell of a name for a drug...! Metham... what ?" I exclaimed as that peculiar name had grabbed my attention.

"Methamphethamine, or most commonly known as Meth. How stupid are you to not have made the link between those two already...!?" she blurted out as she flipped her hair.
Well, excuse me for not being an expert in drugs like you, you witch!

"Oh, you seem to know quite a lot about those stuff yourself...! And truthfully, I was not even able to make the connection between the two myself", retorted Chanyeol.
Aw he was doing an outstanding job in backing me up...! I was so proud of my little dorky giant!

"Oh it's no biggie! I understand those slips of mind sometimes, haha! I am sure that if you were given a few more minutes, you would have made the link...!" the snake replied quite cheerfully.
Then what, was I simply stupid to you ? Ah, I was fed up with her and her nonsensical talks!

"Yeah whatever. Anyway, thanks for satisfying our query. Now, if you please, Chanyeol has something to explain t-"

"Yeah, number 41. I overheard that too", she dryly responded again.
Well well, she had pretty good ears, wouldn't you guys say ? But I was no fool to not notice that she was actually spying on us, I mean, Chanyeol.

"Ha! Spy all you want, little lizard. But the fly is already in the spider's net."
Sub-conscious self! Long time no see! But seriously, me...? A spider ? It somehow seemed as if I was the bad one...! It remained nonetheless true that Chanyeol was mine-how many times have I said that already...!? How could that oh-so intelligent  snake not grasp such a basic little thing...!?

"Yeah, could you leave us now ? I need to make sure that she clearly understand this question", finally said Mr. Quiet Lamb. Well as they say, better late than never.

Trisha faked a smile, let out a completely fake and over-dramatic word of concern (for Chanyeol of course, as I was nowhere to be seen on her radar) and left the table. Ah, at last we could get down to business...! Nevertheless, I was sort of grateful that she went to the trouble to tell us about that drug incident, even if she hated me. Well, we both had to put aside our mutual hate and bear with each other's presence, although it was not really worth it.

"I suppose you are angry with me, huh...?" inquired Chanyeol, in fear that I might sulk for days.

"Well, you are partially right about that. That complicates things further for you, right ? I leave it up to you to find a way lift my mood up", I said as I pouted. "It's just that you could have interfered sooner, and maybe, just maybe, I would not have been insulted, RIGHT in the face! Great! Now I am angrier!"

"Okay, I am sorry. But seriously, it was so hilarious!! Hahaha!!" he laughed. Of course, it was funny for the spectator, but not for the one involved!

"Yeah, laugh your head off, you derp."
Oh, I really wanted to make him jealous now...!

"But you know, it was really a turn-on to see you pissed off like that", he said as his sexy smirk was back at it again.

"Well, glad to know that", I replied, still somewhat angry with him.

"Okay, you know what ? Let's head home for now. I'll explain the question once we're there. Okay ?"

"Yeah, let's do that please. I would like to get out of this place right now", I said as I packed my things and got up, ready to leave.

I waited for him to get off his seat and started walking towards the exit of the college's cafeteria. He caught up with me and wrapped his arm around my waist, as if wanting to apologise. I simply smiled back at him but did not wrap my arm around his, as I would usually do. He immediately understood that that little gesture was not enough to calm me down.

"I know that it's not enough, babe. But don't worry, I have more in store for you."
