Lost and Found

Chapter 2

Both girls turn around to find a strange, furry looking creature staring at them with two large yellow eyes and evil grin on his face. The strange alien was purple and small; he was standing on a small hovering platform. Ami gulps, swallowing the lump in her throat before replying to the weird Alien in front of her.

"Away from you, that's where" Ami said harshly whilst pushing Zoe behind her.

The small creature guffawed at the young red head before giving them a reply.

"I don't think so- surround them"

More soldiers poured from the ship and surrounded the two, leaving them no ways of escape. They were trapped. Zoe tightens her grip on Ami's sleeve, clearly intimidated by the large purple aliens. Ami took a deep breath, what on earth could they want from two orphaned girls.

"What do you want from us!?" She shouts at him.

"Zoe Blake and Ami Grey you have something we want"

Zoe flinched at the sound of her name, her nails digging into Ami's skin.

"He knows our names Ami what do we do?"

Ami glances at Zoe quickly without replying and then looks back at the Alien. Was he really that stupid?

"I literally just asked you that question..." Ami deadpanned the intimidation of him slowly wearing off.

"W-what, no you didn't do not lie to make a fool of me human!"

His reaction caused Ami to roll her eyes, the more he spoke the more he didn't seem scary but she knew that it wasn't the same for Zoe so she had to be careful about her.

"Whatever you say, Mr purple alien, just tell me what you want because I don't really see what we could have that you could need"

"My name is Morvok! And don't you forget it, now tell me the location of the pink and purple Lions"

Zoe and Ami share a confused glance at each other before looking back at the floating purple thing. Zoe moves to the side slightly to have another look at Morvok before talking.

"C-can you even get pink and purple lions?" Zoe says quietly.

"Do not play the fool human; now tell me where the pink and purple lions are!"He shouted at her causing her to jump and hide behind Ami once again.

Ami sighs getting more and more annoyed, they wanted something they hadn't got and to get it they thought terrorizing them was the best way to do it.

"Look dude, you clearly have the wrong people we don't know anything about these multicoloured lions you're talking about, so just do the right thing and let us go"

The small Alien grinned at Ami, "I don't think so, separate them!"

The other soldiers around them pull Zoe away from Ami whilst grabbing her arms so she couldn't go after her. Ami watches as her face contorts into pure horror as she was split away from her.

"Ami!"

"Zoe!!"

They grabbed for each other but they were too far apart, their efforts useless. Ami turned to Morvok and glared at him, "Let her go now!"

"You dare order me around, unless you give us what we want I will never let her go!"

"We don't have what you want how many times do we have to say it before you believe us-please just let us go, we won't say anything to anyone about this we just want to go!" Ami shouts at him desperately.

Morvok begins to chuckle darkly, "Ha you really think I'd believe your pathetic human lies!?"

Ami's eyes widen at the word pathetic, anger consuming her. How dare anyone call her such a thing, without a second thought she escapes the grasps of the aliens behind her and runs towards the floating creature. Before she is able to reach Morvok, Zoe yelps forcing Ami to stop and turn to her. She had a knife pressed to her neck, Ami's eyes twitch slightly before looking down in surrender.

"A-ami please help me..."

"That is what I thought; now I shall be taking you two along with me until you decide to tell me what I want"

Ami kept quiet and watched as the men took Zoe into the space ship, a knife still pressed against her throat. She couldn't risk anything as her life was on the line.

"Follow along human"

Morvok's men went to grab her again but she turned to give them a glare certain to kill, they backed away slightly unsure of what to do about the young red head.

"I can walk on my own, don't you dare touch me" She growled at them all before making her way towards the entrance of the ship.

"Good girl"

Morvok mocked as he hovered down to her height, a wide grin on his face. Ami turned around and spat at him before walking into the space ship, leaving Morvok in shock. A couple of his soldiers chuckled gaining a glare from their captain.

Zoe and Ami had looked up at the night sky one last time before the giant mechanical doors close on them. They turn around and follow the aliens in silence knowing full way there was no way of escaping. Or so they thought, from the bracelet on each girls wrist emitted a small flashing light, though both oblivious to this as all that was on their mind was how they were going to survive.
