Lost and Found

Chapter 4

"What do you mean?" Shiro asked Ami as she began to make her way through the corridors once again. The light on her bracelet began to flash quicker causing her to grin. She began to pick up the speed, making sure the light on her purple bracelet was still bright or getting brighter. She had to find Zoe and she had to do it quickly.

"Oi Red, where are we going?" Lance called as they all chase after her.

With a small grin Ami shouts back a reply, "To Zoe that's where!"

Keith shares a confused look with Shiro as they continue to run after Ami, slowly catching up to her. Soon enough Keith reaches her and questions her.

"So where is that Red?"

Ami glances at him, the agitation clear on her face.

"One, don't call me Red, the names Ami and two, I'm not one hundred percent sure actually, I just have a gut feeling I know where she is"

Keith looked at her in disbelief and sighed, "If you say so"

"Look if you don't believe me you can go away, I don't need you"

Shiro made his way to Ami's other side, "Hey it's okay, we believe that you can find your friend so just please let us help"

Ami scowls at him, "She isn't just my friend, she's family and I CAN'T lose her"

Shiro nodded his head at her, a sad smile on his face, "I understand, I really do"

Ami stopped running and looked at the ground, her eyes began to water but she took a deep breath stopping them from spilling and then looked at the three paladins running with her. Shiro placed his hand on her shoulder and smiled at her.

"We have to find her quickly; she could be in danger if she's with Morvok"

"Yeah who knows what that crazy bastard would do to her" Lance adds.

Ami looked at them confusion on her face, "Wait...you know that guy?"

Lance nods his head and proceeds to boast about how they faced him and beat him. Ami took his hands into her own and squeezed them, looking directly into his eyes.

"If you can defeat him once...then please help me get Zoe back" Ami half begs him and the other paladins around her.

Lance stood there staring at her; he was at a loss of words. Keith stepped forwards and placed his hand on Ami's shoulder, a small grin adorning his face.

"Of course we will, excuse Lance's excessive staring"

Keith smacked the back of Lances head causing Lance to shout out in pain and then to glare at Keith. Keith just rolls his eyes at him. Lance sighs and then turns back to face Ami and awkward look on his face, he rubbed the back of his neck with his hand before saying anything to her.

"Sorry for that"

Ami smiled slightly at him, "No it's alright, don't worry"

Keith cleared his throat grabbing everyone's attention, "Great now that, that's over, lead the way Ami"

She nodded her head at him, finally feeling reassured, she now had a fighting chance to get Zoe back and she was going to do everything in her power to take advantage of it.

"Follow me!"

Ami placed her hand in front of herself and began to run down the long corridors once again, allowing the light to guide them. The three paladins followed after her. Soon enough they reached two large metal doors, they were the only things between Ami and Zoe and she would do just about anything to get them out of the way.

"We need to get through here, she's on the other side, I know it"

"I'm on it"

Shiro walks towards the doors control panel and holds out his metal arm, before he was actually able to do anything the two large doors opened, revealing multiple galra soldiers surrounding Zoe, who was on the floor shaking.

The small blonde looked up from the ground at the sound of the doors opening, a traumatized look on her face. Ami's face contorted into anger as she spotted the dozens of cuts Zoe now had on herself. Zoe spotted Ami, her eyes were practically begging for her help.

"I'm coming Zoe just wait a little bit longer!"

"No Ami wait!" Keith shouts after her in attempt to grab her arm but he was too late.

Ami grabbed the charm of her necklace, tearing it off of her neck. The small charm grew larger, into a dagger. The dagger was incrusted with an all too familiar symbol. It was a blade of Marmora. Keith noticed this instantly but was unable to question her about it as she was already charging at the soldiers.

Ami began to fight the men, dodging each and every one of their attacks and attacking them with twice the strength and speed. In no time she made her way into the middle. But that didn't stop the Galra; once again they surrounded her, ready to fight back.

"She can do that?"

Lance pops out from the side of Keith his eyes on Ami in shock.

"Yeah...I guess she can" Keith mumbles back hundreds of thoughts running through his mind.

Shiro begins to run towards them, he pats Keith's back on the way.

"Come on, let's help her!"
