Five hours passed when Nikki was woken by some weight on her stomach. It took her a little longer to adjust to the light. After a while she managed and was met by bright green and grey eyes and a broad smile. She couldn't help her own smile from forming on lips.

"Vale what are you doing?" She asked between giggles while running her hands through his curly brown hair.

"I've missed you." He pouted. She cocked her brow. "Missed me?" He nodded. "You've been asleep forever. When I wanted to wake you up daddy said I shouldn't because you were tired." His lips ended in a pout. She smiled at his cuteness. He got off her so she could stand.

After putting on her flip flops, the two wandered off with Valentino leading the way. Nikki admired the paintings and designs on the wall. Again, vintage but modern. Soon enough she brought in the midst of Laura, Pablo and Monica. She gave the guard in the corner a careful glance before looking back at Monica.

"Sweety you're finally awake." Monica stated, noticing her first. Nikki gave them a smile. "You slept through dinner. I wanted to wake you but Romanov said not to." Laura informed. Nikki shrugged. It was honestly okay. She wasn't that hungry anyway. Her anxiety was enough. "I'm fine. Where's Roman?" She asked looking around for him. "He's with the bossman." Pablo spoke up this time.

Valentino pulled her arm, gaining her attention. "You need to see the trampoline mommy.' He squealed, jumping excitedly. "Wait a while."

He shook his head no. "No mommy. Right now pleeeeaaaase!" Nikki gave him a strict face. "I'll take him." Pablo offered. He took the boy's hand leading him away.

Nikki sighed, massaging her temples. Valentino was a lot of work at times but he was up for it. She saw Donavon before she heard him. "Good evening Donavon."

He returned her smile. "Oh hey Nikki. How was your rest?" She shrugged. "Good........uhmmmm.. Do you know where Roman is?" He nodded. "He's by the pool."

"Thanks."

As she walked to him, she admired his backside. He had his right hand in his pocket with the shirt sleeves rolled to his elbow exposing his tattooed arms. She stopped about ten feet behind him. This man couldn't be anything less than a god.

Everybody thought so, with his perfectly sculpted face, high cheek bones, sharp chiseled jaw, straight pointed nose, pink plump lips and and her favourite, his deep drowning gray eyes.

When his muscles flexed, she noticed the cigarette in his hand. He was smoking, a habit she didn't really agree with but it wasn't like he was going to listen. Another attitude that got him where he was. Once he had his mind made up, there was no going back.

"Cara you've been standing there for the past four minutes." Came his deep voice. She watched again as he took another puff. She licked her moist lips and looked round, noticing the numerous men in suit and earpiece that littered the place.

Just like home but more. She walked closer till she stood by him. He faced her. "How did you known I was behind you?"

"I always feel your presence Cara."

She sighed. "Have you had dinner?" He asked. She bit her lip. "The air is different here in Florence." She blurted out, trying to change the topic. He realised her game. "It's not the answer to my question." There was that strictness in his voice. Her health was most important to him.
