Four days. That's how long Nikki had to wait till she was allowed to visit Roman and she was anxious. She tapped her fingers on the round table before her. "Why isn't he here yet?!" She whisper yelled to the lawyer closest to her. She had four of the best lawyers in the state with her. Obvious they knew about his involvement with the Mafia.

"Relax......" The lawyer looked up. "He's here." Nikki's head shot up and she stood as her gaze met his. She run up to him, ready to
hug him but was stopped by his officer. "I'm sorry ma'am but you can't have contact with him."

She nodded and walked back to where she sat. She couldn't help the tears that streamed down her cheeks. She wasn't comfortable with the fact that he was in shackles.

Roman offered his wife the most honest smile. He had been away from his family many times but this time was harder especially because of all they were going through. His heart broke at how worn out she looked.
"Cara...." He breathed.

She smiled at him. She waited for the officer to move away before leaning forward and speaking. "I'm so happy to see you. Are you okay? Do you need anything?"

Roman smirked at her eagerness. "Cara, relax. I'm fine."

She shook her head. "No, you're not." She licked her dry lips. "The lawyers will get you out in two days." She started. "They've sent some pretty tempting notes to the detective that brought you in."

Roman raised an eyebrow at his wife then moved to the lawyers. "What did you send him?"

"Well basically that he can't have you here especially on the bases that you haven't had a fair trail and....." Another law took out a file from the lawyer by him. He passed it to Roman.

Roman opened and was amazed by the content. This was more than what he needed. He slid it back to him. "I have another assignment for you." He said to all four lawyers. "I need you to work on Derrick Armand's case."

"Roman we need to focus on you right now." Nikki chipped in. She wondered how her husband could think of another person's release when he himself was behind bars.

He placed his hands on her. "Cara, don't worry." He moved his attention back to the lawyers.  "I want him out with me." Before he could continue the officer came to him. "Visiting hour is over." He announced.

Nikki looked around. The prisoners were being taken out. "We'll get you out." Nikki promised him as he stood. He nodded and smiled at her. He bent and placed an affectionate peck on her lips. "I know."

The officer grabbed him by the arm. Roman stood straight, completely towering him. "Touch me one more time." He growled. The smaller, older man visibly looked frightened. Roman looked back at his lawyers. "Two days. Get both of us out." The lawyers nodded.

Roman offered Nikki a wink before walking out. He didn't feel disturbed at all. He knew he was going to get out soon enough and when he did, the revenge was on.

It was one thing to come after him but it was a completely different case to come after his family. For the past five years he thought he had tried to have a peaceful relationship with Lucas. He had been pushed many times to the wall but chose not to react especially because of his wife but now all the respect was gone. Lucas made himself look like the victim in all that happened when he was a part of the problem. What moved him the most was how Lucas made his daughter and wife think he was innocent.

Lucas was about to have his life turned in ways he wouldn't get.

Lucas was a hot mess. The way had envisioned things to go was not falling to plan. The original idea was kidnap the boy, strain the relationship between his daughter and Roman, get his daughter to leave him and get back his grandchild. Apparently his partner had other plans.
