Riley and I arrived at Taco Bell. We walked inside and saw that there were a few teenagers here and there. The two of us walked up to the counter and ordered our food. We sat down at a table that was the farthest away from anyone else. "How's life?" Riley asks me.

"Meh," I shrug. "It could be better."

"Yeah, my life's pretty boring, but I'm sure things will get exciting soon," she tells me.

"Well, my life sure has been... exciting," I mumble.

"Hey! How's it going with your celeb friends?" Riley asks cheerfully.

I laugh. "It's alright... I guess."

"You guess? (Y/n) you are friends with my idols," Riley says.

I continue to eat my food. The door to Taco Bell opens and two people step in. I look up to see Josh... with Debby. I block my face with my hand. Riley stares at me.

"Look behind you," I whisper as quietly as possible. She turns around.

"Oh my gosh-"

"Yes, it is Josh Dun," I cut her off. "I need you to stay quiet for me and not draw attention to yourself."

"Why? I thought you two were friends," she whispers.

"We are but... I'll explain it to you when we get in the car."

Riley nods her head and we continue to talk about what we've been doing with our lives. At this point, I knew that Josh knew that I was here. We both ignored each other. Maybe we just need more time, and then we'll talk to each other again.

--Josh's P.o.V.--

(Y/n) knew I was here, but neither of us had the courage to get up and speak to each other. I really hope Debby doesn't see (Y/n), she'd probably talk to (Y/n) and drag me with her. What would I say after what happened today? And she saw me with Debby, so she's probably heartbroken...

"And so then I decided to kill your brother," Debby says, taking me out of my thoughts.

"You what?"

"Finally I have your attention," She rolls her eyes and smiles. "Who were you looking at?"

"N-no one!" I try to stop her, but it was too late. She turned around and saw (Y/n).

"We should go say hi!" Debby suggests.

"I don't know who the girl she's sitting with is," I tell her. "I don't want to bother them if they're talking about something important."

"Fine," Debby sighs.

--Your P.o.V.--

"Are you ready to go?" Riley asks.

"Yeah," I reply.

We throw away our trash and leave. Once we get into Riley's car, she begins to ask me all these questions. "What's wrong with you and Josh? Are you still friends? Did you two get in a fight? WERE YOU TWO DATING AND IS HE CHEATING ON YOU?!" She shouts.

"No!" I shout back.

I explain everything to Riley. She laughs.

"Riley!" I shout again.

"I'm sorry, I just find it funny that you two are avoiding each other because of that."

"I'm embarrassed!" I cry.

"You'll be fine," Riley laughs, starting her car. We begin to drive back to my house.

--Time Skip--

"Will I see you at the reunion?" Riley asks.

"Probably," I reply.

She laughs. "Text me if you are going. I really don't want to be alone this year."

"Alright," I say. "Bye!

"Bye!"

I walk into my house. It felt emptier than usual. I felt lonelier than usual. I felt just like my house, empty.

There was nothing I could do for entertainment that I really wanted to do. It was too early to go to sleep so I just had to force myself to watch a movie. I got on Netflix and chose some movies to watch.

A few movies later, I fell asleep.
