--Your P.o.V.--
I stomped on Liam's foot and bolted away. I ran around the house and into the backyard where the party was. I stopped when I saw someone blocking my path. It was Tyler. "(Y/n)? Josh was looking for you," he tells me. "Why were you running?"
(oop... what? who put that picture there?)
"I... uh," I begin. "It's story long story but I-"
"(Y/n)," I hear Josh say behind me. I turn around and look at him, he looked hurt. "I saw what happened." My face began to heat up and I began to worry. I couldn't tell how Josh was feeling. He was speaking with no emotion in his voice.
"I'm going to let you two talk," Tyler says quietly. "If you need me I'll be over there..."
Before I could protest, Tyler was gone. "Josh, I can explain," I said. Josh just shook his head and turned around. "Really, I can! You just have to turn around and listen. Please?"
"Fine," he turned back around.
Before I could finish the first word of my explanation, fast footsteps distracted me. I had no doubt it was Liam. I felt him run to my side and wrap his arm around me. Josh saw and looked down at the ground. He didn't try to fight Liam or get him away from me.
He probably thought our relationship was over.
--Josh's P.o.V.--
So it was Liam I saw outside with (Y/n). That's fantastic. I really thought Liam and I could get along... but after all of the trouble (Y/n) and I went through to get here in our relationship, something really doesn't seem right here. It doesn't seem like she would throw it all away so quickly.
"Why'd you leave?" Liam asks (Y/n). "Come with me, you'll have more fun with me than whatever you're doing here. Trust me."
"Have fun," I didn't know what else to say. I turned away to find Tyler.
"Fun?!" I heard (Y/n) yell. "Josh is so much better than you, you douchebag."
I felt someone grab onto my arm behind me. I knew it was (Y/n). She hugged me and I hugged her back. "Please, believe me," she said. "He kissed me, I didn't kiss back."
"I know you wouldn't."
--Your P.o.V.--
Brendon and Tyler approached us, probably wanting to know what was going on. Liam tried to make an excuse but everything he said was a lie. I told my story. Liam and I argued and shouted at each other different point of views. He was trying to be the victim. He's not a victim... he's just weird.
"Liam," Brendon finally began. "I thought you were a cool person, but you can get out of here. I'll escort you to the door."
We watched as Brendon and Liam walked away, Liam giving us a mean look before he left. "How did you guys know each other?" Josh asked with an arm around me.
"Oh... we were friends for a short time... and then we started dating. It was dumb because I never realized how much of a jerk he actually was."
"You know I'm not a jerk right? I could never and would never be like that," Josh tells me.
"I know you aren't," I smile. "You're too sweet."
"Awh! Are you guys going to kiss?" Tyler interrupts.
"You just ruined the moment," Josh laughs.
"Sorry," Tyler laughed back.
Brendon came back with a small smile. "I'm sorry, but that guy is crazy."
"Don't be sorry," I tell Brendon. "We all know by now."
(Oh dang this chapter was meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh... meaning the writing quality was pretty bad in my opinion. I haven't published a chapter in so long and I don't want to read over it so just pretend like the writing was outstanding! Anyway, I think I'm going to end this story when chapter twenty-one comes around because I want to start other things. I'll talk about it more when the time comes.)
