I didn't know how to describe the area I was in. It wasn't like a park, but it seemed like a place kids would hang out at. It really did have a nice view of the sunset.

We weren't staring straight into the sun (obviously) but we were looking at the golden sky. It was really beautiful. "You know what's more beautiful than the sky," I say trying to hold back my laughter.

"What?" Josh knew what I was doing.

"You," I burst out laughing at my totally original pick-up line.

"Ha," Josh rolled his eyes, smiling.

Right now it's actually perfect.

I wish it would stay like this forever, but nothing gold can stay. Soon the sun will set and we'll have to go back to Sarah and Brendon's party, and who knows what will happen there. This golden moment will be gone, and I have a bad feeling that it will get worse.

(I decided to make this chapter very short and calm because it is always calm before the storm...

Fun fact: This chapter was inspired by a chapter from The Outsiders. Even the 'nothing gold can stay' part. I cried while reading the book and watching the movie so if you haven't read the book you really should.

If you're still reading this, then hi I drank a lot of coffee.)
