"Human" ~ Krewella
What the recording area looks like:
~~~Your point of view~~~
You couldn't believe your eyes. You had your own music studio. No one had ever done something like this for you. "Th-thank you all so much," you said as you hand moved to your mouth, and tears formed in your eyes.
"You're welcome Y/n; we're glad you like it," Dick said as he pulled you into a hug.
You dried your eyes and smiled, "I love it."
"Will you sing us something?" Tim asked.
"Alright," you smiled. You set up a microphone near the computers so you could control the music while you sang. You took your guitar and started to strum it to the right tune. You pressed the record button.~~~Italics - you~~~
~~~Start the song~~~*You started strumming the guitar and added the keyboard piano in layers of different recordings. When you finished the background music you pressed the record button again and started to sing.*
Is anybody there?
Does anybody care
What I'm feeling?
I wanna disappear
So nobody can hear
Me when I'm screamin'*You started adding effects with the new gear*
'Cause I could use a hand sometimes
Yeah, I could use a hand sometimes*Your hands flew over the controls as you sang creating your own sound*
They say pain is an illusion
This is just a bruise
And you are just confused
But I am only human
I could use a hand sometimes
I am only human [3x]The night is bitter cold
I wonder if you know
That I'm sleepless
Waitin' like a ghost
When I need you the most
I go unnoticed'Cause I could use a hand sometimes
Yeah, I could use a hand sometimes*you slowly added your effects again*
They say pain is an illusion
This is just a bruise
And you are just confused
But I am only human
I could use a hand sometimes
I am only human [2x]*You creates the echo effect as you continued to sing and once again created your own sound*
The weight of the world is pullin' me down
(Where are you now, where are you now?)
Every breath feels like I'm gonna drown
(Where are you now, where are you now?)
I'm the only one left alone on this Earth
Singin' this song but can't find the words'Cause I could use a hand sometimes
Yeah, I could use a hand sometimesThey say pain is an illusion
This is just a bruise
And you are just confused
But I am only humanI could use a hand sometimes
I am only human~~~End of song~~~
You stopped the recording and saved it to the computer. You turned around in your chair.
"Wow," Dick started clapping and the others joined him. Damian was staring at you, making you blush slightly.
"Are you going to post it?" Tim asked.
"Um, okay," you smiled as you pulled the laptop closer, added a photo as a cover of the music, and created a profile, but you stopped when it asked what to call you. "Uh."
"Is something wrong?" Jason asked.
"What should I call myself?" You asked, not wanting to use your real name.
"Oh," Jason responded, beginning to think.
"The Nightingale?" Dick asked.
"Umm," I said unsurely.
"The Diva?" Jason suggested.
"No!" Tim told him, "We all know that's not what Y/n is like. How about The Song Bird?"
"Nah," said Dick, "The Sound Machine?"
"What is she a walking radio?" Jason snorted.
"Uh," you said turning to Damian, "do you have any ideas?"
"The Siren?" Damian asked, shrugging his shoulders.
"Wait! Can you repeat it, Damian? Dick, Jason, Tim be quiet for a minute." You said.
"The Siren," He said again as his brothers quieted down.
"I love it," You exclaimed as you held up the laptop and typed the name in.
"Very well," Bruce told you, "you'll be known as the Siren to the outside world."
"Figured she'd pick the name he made up," Jason said.
"What it was better than The Diva," Damian smirked.
"There! I posted my first song!" You smiled going to hug Dick.
"Congratulations Y/n," Bruce said.
"Thank you for everything Bruce," you smiled as you hugged the man which surprised him.
"You are very welcome Y/n, now let's go upstairs for cake," he smiled down at you.
