I live a normal life with the same routine. Not that different from others right? That's my issue, It's always the same thing over and over. I hate it, in fact I despise it. The way this world is, it's sickening in all honesty. I'm forced to go to school and deal with bitches all day, then I get to take care of myself alone at my house. My mom leaves me 500 yen a week, I have no more friends. I live in a shitty apartment because my mom is an alcoholic that drinks and fucks for money all day. She then wastes her earnings on vodka and cocaine. I don't have a father because even before I was born, my mom was in this business. My neighbor, which is only two years older than me checks up on me and occasionally spends the night. He is the only form of a parent I know, his name is Kaito. He's absolutely wonderful and treats me as his younger brother. His dad's in jail so he gets my situation.

"Hey I'm going to visit Kei, just checking up on you. Need anything while I'm out?" Kaito said as the door shut behind him, "Hide?" He took a long pause and heard a gun shot from upstairs. "Hide!"

I sat there in my room, I looked on the walls. There was blood, lots of it. I look in the revolver and noticed there was one less bullet than before. I shot myself in the head. How am I not dead?! The thought kept coming in my mind over and over. I lifted the gun back up the my head, I pulled the trigger right as I saw Kaito.

"Hide, No!" Another loud boom fired.

"No, Hide!" Kaito screamed as tears fell from his eyes.

I woke up where I was before, right where I pulled the trigger. Kaito was there over me crying.

"Kaito? I don't know what to do now!" I said putting my head down.

"Hide you're alive! Wait, you're alive that means you're an...A-!"

"Don't, don't finish that sentence, I can't except it!" I raised the gun back up to my head.

"Hide, it's okay. Everything's going to be fine." Kaito said reassuringly.

"No, you're going to report me to the po-!" I didn't get to finish before he cut me off.

"Absolutely not, I would never do that. Especially not you Hide!" He looked at me as I studied the revolver.

He sat with me in the corner as I fell asleep. Kaito pulled his phone out of his back pocket. He texted Kei, one of his childhood friends.
Two guys rushed through the doorway of the bloody room.

"Oh my god..." one said with red hair as he store at the sight of blood.

At this point I was awake, but this all felt so fake. I wish I was dreaming, but of coarse not. It had to be real, all of this could've been avoided if I wasn't born. Why me, why couldn't I be normal...
