We drove off, me and Kai on his bike and Kei and Ko in the car. We followed behind them, not letting anyone else get between us and them. We went up into the mountains, there weren't many cars but since the sun was going down cars were becoming more and more rare. I kept thinking to myself, why me, why me?  My whole mask was wet on the inside, from the tears of my reality. I now have to live my whole life as a secret. Who would want to do that? Thoughts kept bouncing back and fourth, up and down, and crept out of every little free space there was. Finally it was night and we were riding past the woods. on a dirt rode. There were still cars but not many. My jacket was flowing with the wind at it smacked my arms along with my legs.  I started hyperventilating to the point of no return.

"Kai," I said struggling.

"Yeah, what's up?" He said in his casual voice."

"We," I kept pausing after each word to get air back into my lungs, "need... To...Pull... Over..."

He looked back at me and hesitated, we did indeed pull over. I threw the helmet on the ground and collapsed to my knees before Kai even got the chance to turn his bike off. Kei and Ko had to pull over as well, at the sight of us not following them anymore.

"What the hell's happening?" Ko asked.

"I don't know I don't know I don't know!" at this point I was pissed.

"Okay just calm down, " Kai said.

I threw up, not that there was anything there. It was just liquid, from all the water I drank earlier.

"Oh god," Kei turned his back.

"Okay new plan, Kei, Hide's riding with you in the car. At least in there he can lay down in the back," Kai gave us the new plan and we followed, Kai gave Ko the helmet to bring with us and Kai would follow us on his bike. I sat up the best I could in the back of the gross car, it was disgusting.  We drove for around another thirty minutes before getting there. The woods were dark and there was a little shack with a drive way. We drove up to the door and Kaito followed, we were finally here. Nothing beats an hour and a half of an anxiety attack am I right? Ko walked up to the door and unlocked it. I walked in with my bags at hand, there was graffiti all over the walls  and dirt smudged carpet. There were three rooms, each had a beds that looked actually nice.

"This is where we hide out when things get bad for Ajins," Kei said.

"Yeah, this is where you should stay for a while just until things get under control and you know how to summon your ghost and use it," Ko explained.

"What ghost?" I asked cuirass.

"Each Ajin has a ghost like black figure that you can summon at any time, watch," Kai stood there concentrating.

A black ghost like thing appeared, it looked so fake but so real.

"Oh god," it said.

"And sometimes they repeat things you say too. Only Ajins can see these, Kai. He can't see it, not one inch of it unless it scratches something and then he can see the markings it left.

"Wow..." I just store at it.

"We'll show you yours tomorrow, go get some sleep," Ko said as he showed me to the small room to the right of the living room. I closed the door and set my bad down by the bed. At this point all the anxiety was gone, I have nothing to worry about. I can get away with anything, absolutely anything I want without getting killed and no one would ever expect it. I was now laying on my bed with sweat pants on and a gray sweater, laughing with my arm over my eyes.

"My meaningless life that will never have meaning, will forever last..."
