Everyone looked worried after the TV shut off, all of us made eye contact with the other at the same time. After Kei finished his sentence, there were lights in the drive way. Kai went to look through the torn up curtains. A man with a hat and suspenders emerged from the car along with another guy with long hair. They both walked slowly taking their time up the long drive way.

"Kei, Ko, come look who's here," Kai demanded.

They both rushed towards the window with curiosity. They then slowly backed away at the sight of the two men.

"Hide now," Kei yelled, "Kai and Hide hide!"

Me and Kai ran to the back room, the room I stayed in.

"Kai what's going on?" I asked.

"One of the Ajins is after you I'm guessing, so in other words you need to stay hidden." Kai has a serious look on his face now, he wasn't kidding around.

"Kai, you need to stay hidden way more than I do. You only have one life, one chance to do right in this world. I on the other hand am cursed with an infinite life I'm failing," I looked down at my feet ashamed of myself for being the way I was.

"Hide, none of that is true I will put my life in the line to save you," he looked at me with a smirk.

"You can give something that has so much value, I don't have anything," tears were rushing down my face with truth. I couldn't believe I was saying this, but this is what I was truly thinking about the last few days.

"Come on let's hide," he smiled even bigger, "you don't have to give me anything Hide you're all I ask for is you to be safe and sound, that's all I truly care about."

We were now running trying to find a place to hide that didn't seem too obvious. So in other words we couldn't hide in any closets, under any beds, or in any storage spaces. I suggested we hide not together exactly but near each other incase something happened to one of us. Kai hid in the laundry hamper while I hid in the pantry with the door closed. We both looked at each other when we heard the gun shots going off in the living room. I flinched a few times before getting used to the overpowering sound. Kei and Kō must be down now. I heard footsteps throughout the hall way. Back and forth and back again, it was almost as if they were waiting for us to come out. Finally the door knob turned and the man with the hat was there. He studied the room before fully entering, the man checked all the inconvenient hiding spots. Kai moved just a slight bit and the man noticed, he gradually walked up to the torn up hamper and knocked it over. Kai came pouring out of it while shielding his head from his fall.

"Well look what we've got here?" The man exclaimed.

I pushed the door open slowly in which I emerged out of the pantry. Kai was the only one that noticed me at this point but acted like he never did.

"Don't hurt him," I said bodly attempting to making a statement.

The man turned around to look at me, "yes yes, I see much potential in you young man. You must be the new Ajin, Hide right?" He sounded nice but I wasn't falling for his cheap tricks.

"Yeah what about it?" I asked.

The man walked closer to me, Kai tried to stand up but while on the floor the other man shot him with a feather dart. "Don't worry it only knocks him out for a few hours," the hatted man said. "Have a seat and let's chat shall we?" The man with the hat sounded awfully nice but you could tell he wanted something. The other man with long hair directed us to the kitchen and we all sat at the island on the stools where I got the perfect shot of Kei and Kō passed out on the ground.

"I'll give you anything you want but you can't hurt them," you could hear the anger that came with my words.

"Well if you coaporate with us there won't be any issues," him and the man beside him started giggling like little children."I'm Sato and this is Tanaka, we want you to come join us. We have great plans that I think you'll get a kick out of."

"What does that even mean, you know what? I'm fucking done with you," as I turned my back I heard the noise of a dart stick into something. As I turned back around it was my ghost. Tanaka shot the dart gun five times and it didn't get through my black ghost, my IBM was protecting me.

"Well you are physically strong, but not quite mentally yet," he gave off a smirk right as I felt a pinch in my back. Behind me there was another black ghost shooting darts to stabalize me. I felt a little light headed but not much else.

"What the hell Tanaka?! Keep fucking shooting!" Sato yelled.

At this point my black ghost disappeared due to the strain of the ketching of the darts which wore it out. Tanaka kept shooting more and more, right as he went to reload more I looked at Sato, "I'll come with you on one condition," he looked interested now.

"And what may that be?" He asked me.

"Letting my friends live normal lives, I don't care what you do with me but don't fuck with the others because I'll come with you."

Sato looked very pleased with my answer, I was fine with it as long as Kai was going to be okay along with Kei and Kō. Tanaka shot me with another dart this was the one I would give into. The seventh dart.
