The Land Down Under
It was dark, the only light source I can see is the enormous candle filled chandelier hanging from above.
I found myself laying on a huge master-bed with sheets red as velvet blood. I lifted my head from the pillows that surrounded my pale lifeless body as I scanned the area.
I seem to be in a large bedroom, turning my head left to right, I saw a large double doored exit from afar.
"Hello?" I called out, hoping someone was with me. I can't help but to think that I'm forgetting about something.
In pitch silence and haven't gotten no response, I stood up and and went for the doors, I reached out my hand to the large golden knob and gasped as I noticed a strange detail.
My cut disappeared from my wrist. Surely, it had to leave a mark, but it's gone.
I sighed and ignored it as I carried on turning the knob. I opened the door as the bright light from the flames of the fireplace first captured my attention.
The room was pretty dim as well, and without the embers from the fire, the room would be filled with darkness.
I continued to walk inside and noticed the stacks of bookshelves surrounding the fire pit. And in the middle, a vintage one seater couch carefully placed beside a coffee table with a crystal orb on it.
Surely whoever owns this house is a weird creepy old man. Oh, make that creepy large old man, that couch is huge!
"Where am I?" My voice echoed through the large room for then I established that no one was with me.
I continued to scan my area and from afar, again I saw two large doors that seemed to be the way out of the house. I ran for it and was astonished by the view outside.
My jaw dropped as I saw fields and fields of fire surrounding the whole horizon. Everywhere you look, there was fire. And evidently, everywhere you look there were red skinned people with horns cominh from their head. Demons.
I paused for awhile being overwhelmed with the scenery but deep down inside me, I had realized that, "Fuck, I'm in hell."
Screams of agony can be heard in each corner, bodies fall from the nothingness above going to the fiery pits, there were even bodies burned with fire walking around casually as if it was normal for then. It was a nightmare.
I collected my senses and went on my trails. Where am I going you may ask? I don't know either. All I know is I'm not staying here.
I kept walking and walking passing each mile with the same horrific scene until I stumbled upon a large tree.
The tree has the shape of of a Wisteria Willow, kinda like the ones we had in our backyard. Only, the leaves are burning, surrounding the barks with flame.
From where I was, I could see the trunk has some kind of entrance in it in the middle. Without any hesitation, I went up to it and entered.
Look, I know this sounds fishy but I had no other choice, where would I be going? Okay, tell me in the comment section if you have any idea where would you go if you're in hell.
