Ethan's POV:

That guy was weird...saying he was from under water. I sighed and swang over the side of the boat. I put it under the tree like I always did, I changed into my black shirt and leather jacket. My black jeans and black converse. As I changed I saw someone pop their head up, watching me. I saw the red hair before it popped down again, I sighed and walked back to my motorcycle. As I drove back home I thought about the guy I swimming. I should go back tomorrow....ask more questions.

As I arrived home my sister giggled "Hey Eth! So! How was your swim?" I shrugged and went upstairs. I dropped on the bed and groaned. I soon fell asleep.

A few hours later I woke up to my sister screaming at me "Get your ass up!" I grunt and told her to go away "No! Get up! Even though it's a Saturday you need to swim! Your muscles will...." as she kept talking I shot up. That's right. I have to see that guy again today. As I got dressed in a grey fitted shirt and my jeans and jacket. I grabbed my keys and drove to the beach.

As I changed I felt someone watching me again, I look over my shoulder as the boy looked at me, and started to swim away quickly, my eyes narrowed as I jump in the ocean. Not caring for my boat this time. Did I see a...tail? As he turns a corner to an entrance or something, I stopped and watched him. I pop up to get air, I ran a hand through my hair. I hissed as I felt something at my feet. I felt it again a few minutes later, I moved my feet and divide back under. Looking around I see him his face paled as I looked down I saw tail? He looked at me and swam backward, scared. My eyes widen as I look at the tail...a...mermaid....huh...interesting...I think...

He swam away hiding now. His tail was a darker blue at the top only a foot and faded into a light teal. I looked up and popped up, coughing softly. "The...hell?" I look down and around. He came up finally and looked at me still paled and scared "either you die or you keep this a secret you hear?!" I snort "Not like people are going to believe me," I look into his silver eyes. His eyes were so....captivating...his eyes showed fear and worry "you have to promise or I will...I will...I will kill you!" I smirked and leaned closer to him "Really now? Fine I won't tell, Alas" he shook his head and moved away a little keeping his tail close.

I chuckled "I won't, 'tis not like anyone would believe the troublemaker like me," I played with my lip pierced with my tongue. as I ran a hand through my hair. He looks at me then down moving his tail closer to himself. He looked at me scared, now he won't even be near me now. I looked around and sighed "You don't have to be scared, trust me, I wouldn't do that by your....reaction" damn it, just call him a fuckin' fish as well. He looks at me and slowly moves closer, I watch him silently, my lips part slightly. He comes closer to me being a few inches from me, "Alas?" he looks at me softly, his eyes showed less fear and more lust, "sorry I'll go..."

I grab his wrist as he turns, he looks at me, "I uh...sorry...I'm here every morning and night" what the hell am I doing? Why am I telling him when I go swimming. He looks at me worried "I'm sorry...I didn't mean to invade your life..." he looks down, my eyes widen. What? I was the one in his home, right? I let him go and run a hand over my face "Right, well, I should be goin'" he frowns "I'm really sorry...Ethan..."

I look at him, stunned "For? You've done nothin' wrong" why do I care? He looks down "I should have just left you alone and kept swimming..." I smile softly and reach out, running a hand through his red hair "I like it" what.the.hell. I gotta stop, but my body won't move. He looks at me, his eyes widen "please stop! You'll only get hurt liking me!" he moved back scared again. I move my hand back and stare at him "Uh, alright? Uhm, I gotta go" but I want to stay. He frowns "Ethan I'm so sorry...It's all my fault" he dived under swimming away quickly. I sigh and turn, swimming back to the shore.
