Chapter 16: What did I do?

Alas's POV:

I woke up in his arms, I love this. I smile and cuddle into his chest, it just feels right, like I just fit in his arms. Ethan sighed, his eyes fluttering open "Morning," his voice hoarse, I look at him "morning" he smiles softly and kisses my forehead, my nose, then my lips. I giggle before kissing back, "this moment is perfect" he chuckles and looks at me. His eyes filled with love, "You're perfect, but I have to say....laying in a cave was..." I blush hard and move off him.

He chuckles and sits up, running a hand through snowy white hair. I stand and get dressed, still blushing hard. Ethan gets dressed quickly, he pulls me to him, kissing me softly. I look at him kissing back, I place my hands on his chest "wanna go for a swim?" he nods "Yes, but promise me something first," I look at him "hm?" he blushes softly.

"No matter what happens you'll stay and love me," I place my hands on him "I promise you" he grins "Alright after you then" I smile and run jumping into the water changing into my siren form and popping my head out "come on" he jumps in. His tail flicking behind him, I giggle and swim around him, "mmm I think you're sexier as a siren."

His face flushes deeper "N-not really," I smile "mhm" I giggle and poke his abs, he crosses his arms. Making his biceps pop more, I giggle more "your only making me think you are" he huffs, "Giggly are we?" I smile "mhm" he smirked and swam behind me "Last time I checked you were screaming for me to screw you," he nibbled on my ear, I groan in pleasure. "S-Stop, or there will be no stop" he chuckles and moves back.

I swam to him swimming around him again. "What are you doing?" I stop in front of him and poke his abs again and giggle, "I don't know" he raises an eyebrow as he looks at the sky "Hmm it's 7:46, do you want to come to school with me?" I look at him smiling "yeah!" he chuckles and runs a hand through his hair. It turning red slowly, I smile swimming behind him wrapping my arms around his neck.

"What are you doing?" he chuckles, I smile "onward to school!" he nods and swims to the shoreline. I hold onto him smiling, as we stop he walks out of water and stops, looking at me. I walk out on the shore following him. His clothes change slowly into a white polo and grey jeans, I smile as my clothes change into black jeans and a black shirt. Ethan pulls his sleeves down, they tight around his biceps as he sighs "Ready?" his lip ring shining. I nod and smile taking his hand.

As we walk to school people stare at our hands as we walk to his first class, people nor the teachers asked who I was. This is amazing! I'm so excited! I was happy once the class started, people murmured and stared at us. Ethan shrunk in his seat, his arms crossed over his chest. I didn't care about them I just sat there and learned as much as I could. Once the class ended I looked at Ethan, his jaw was set as he got up "C'mon, we have math next" he smiles at me.

I smile and stand up and start for the door, Ethan stops me as two guys almost bump into me "Watch it, Brown" the guy sneers. Ethan grunts as they walk past us, I frown and grunt at them, I glare at them "jerks."

Ethan sighs "come on" he walks to the door, his shoulders slumped. I frown and walks with him "those people are jerks" he shrugs as people bump into him. He clenched his jaw harder as we entered math. I grunt and follow him, he sits down and tilts his head. "Why are people mean to you" I whisper.

I see his grip on his arms tense "They don't like me, just....forget about it...please?" I nod "sure" as the day went on people laughed and pushed Ethan around. It made me so mad, I just wanted to rip their heads off. As Ethan walked out the school he sighed "Sorry...." I walk taking his hand and walking towards the cliff "it's not your fault" he shrugs "I guess," I frown and hug him.
