*AT THE DOLAN HOUSEHOLD*
[Ethan's POV]
"Ethan relax, don't stress so much, it's gonna be fine okay?" Grayson came up from behind me-patting me on my shoulders as I tried to get my beanie on so it looked some what decent.
"Yeah" I said back at him as I looked at my reflection in the mirror.
I can't remember the last time I was this nervous, I don't even get this nervous before a game.
Why is this such a big deal for me?
"Ethan" Grayson said from over the bed where he had laid down with his phone
"Hm?" I hummed at him as a 'what'.
"It's going to be okay, Kayla's a chill person and if you just say it how it is, nothing can go wrong" he said as he looked at me with a serious look.
"But what if she doesn't even wanna talk to me? The last time she saw me was when...you know" I said-looking down in shame.
I hate myself for doing that.
I never really meant to hurt her, I just didn't want her getting close to me and I wanted her to hate me. If she hated me, it would be easier for me to not fall for her.
"Just go up to her, be chill and in a way that indicates you're not going to hurt her and ask her if you can talk" Grayson said-not letting his eyes of his phone. What was so important on it that he couldn't look at me?
"Ugh" I sighted as I walked back to the full length mirror. "Can I wear this or is it too casual?" I asked-looking over at Grayson.
"Nah it's fine. Maybe a little warm for a house party, so put a black shirt underneath or something in case you get too hot" he answered-standing up-about to exit my room.
"What if she doesn't like me?" I said-looking down at the floor.
This girl is everything to me. From the moment I saw her at the airport in Texas to now, nothing means more to me than her and her safety.
"Don't worry 'bout it bro" Grayson said with a smile as he walked out and closed the door. Leaving me alone with only me and my thoughts in my room.
I looked back at myself in the mirror.
Maybe I should put a shirt underneath.
I was wearing a white hoodie with three quarter length sleeves, a dark maroon coloured beanie and some black jeans.
I usually do get quite hot when I drink and since it's an open house party, there's probably gonna be a lot of people there, making it even hotter inside.
"Ugh whatever" I said to myself as I dragged the hoodie over my head and putting on a plain black t-shirt before taking on the hoodie again.
Even though it would be ho inside the house, it's still quite chilly outside and I'm not gonna risk freezing my balls off.

[Kayla's POV]
"Are you sure you're ready for this babe? Like if you don't want to I totally get it, I really don't want to push you into doing something" Morgan said as she was finishing up my makeup.
