I yawned when we walked into the door of the cottage, Mum and Dad trailing behind us. Sirius threw me a nervous glance as we headed into mine and Remus' room. I was about to ask him to speak with me for a moment when James looked at me with a frown, "Danni? When's your birthday?"

I let out a long wail, "We've been friends for three years, and you don't know my birthday?"

James was about to object when Remus interrupted, "No, really. When Mum and Dad asked you started saying something about sending a letter off to Sirius."

Srius was biting his lip when he spoke, "Guys, leave her alone about it. I-I remember when my," Sirius took a breathe,"sister has first come to our family. She had been so scared all the time, she didn't talk. But, one day, she came out of her room with out being asked to and came and knocked on my door. She spoke to me the first time that day and said, 'I don't hate you Siri.'"

I understood why Sirius was staring at me while he said that. I will tell you when I'm ready, he said, and I nodded.

"What happened to her?" James asked.

"My mum told me she ran away last year. I haven't heard from her since."

I decided to make this less awkward, "I'm gonna go to bed."

The boys nodded and headed off the the extra bedroom, and Remus onto his bed.

"Night, Dans," he muttered before drifting off.

I stayed awake staring at the ceiling wondering about what Sirius said. Soon enough I was asleep too.

"Hope!" came the snarl of Kingsdon. I flinched and closed my eyes tightly. I remember the other kids telling me that I had been here too long for my own good and that I would be branded soon enough and sent to the dog pits. My seven year old self was hidden under the bed, shaking in fear. The other kids in the orphanage were scared of me- I was the toughest kid there. But, not today.

Remus shook awake Sirius and James, "Breakfast. I'm letting Dans sleep in she's been having nightmares lately."

Sirius and James nodded and the threes boys headed down stairs.

Mrs.Lupin looked confused when only the boys came down and sighed, "Sirius? Could you please go get Danni?"

Sirius nodded and went up stairs to Remus and Danni's bedroom. Danni was sleeping on her bed, but Sirius frowned, she was muttering in her sleep. she let out a cry of pain and Sirius climbed up the ladder quickly to wake her up.

"Dans? Danni! Wake up!"

I struggled against Kingston, "No! don't please!"

Kingsdon sneered, "Then chose one of your friends to die."

Sirius,Remus, Peter, James, Lilly,Tara, Misty, Severus, Dolores, Lucius

, Cleon and another boy I didn't know all stood before me.

The boy looked so much like Sirius and I realized they must be brothers.

Two pairs of sliver, four of blue, one of red, two of gold, one of brown, one of black, their eyes all watched me.

I shakily muttered the curse and a laugh sounded in my ears.

You having given your worse enemy another life. First he will kill the girl of death, then the poor boy. After that he will cause the death of the one of sliver, then the one of black. He will kill them all. All because you gave him a second life.

I let out cry of pain as my scar flared with rapid pain and Sirius cried out my name.
