Chapter 24 and a half

~June 27th, 1966~

"Mrs.Evans?" Severus asked, looking at her from the other side of the table. He was young- really young- probably six or seven.

"Yes, Severus?" The beautiful red haired women asked, smiling at him with gentle eyes.

"I will protect Lilly. Always," Severus said with all seriousness.

The women laughed and patted his head, "Oh I know you will Severus. Your very loyal to your friends."

Severus gave a small smile.

--January 5th, 1968--

"You idiotic little piece of crap!" Mr.Snape snarled, kicking his son and sending him sprawling across the room.

Severus sobbed into his sleeve, "Please stop Daddy!"

Mr.Snape pulled back his fist just as the front door opened and his wife stormed in, "Don't you lay another hand on my son!"

And the fighting broke out.

~September 30th, 1969~

"Lilly, where's Danni?" Severus asked, looking behind Lilly for the black and sliver haired girl. (During this time, Danni's hair was sliver with three black strips- the kids at school had called her "skunk".)

Lilly looked down sadly, "My dad took her some where. They haven't come back."

Severus bit his lip- Danni was like him and his mum, a magical being.

"How did Petunia take it?" Severus asked.

Petunia had always been closer to Danni then Lilly- those two had been like sisters.

"She is refusing to talk to mummy or daddy till she comes back," Lilly said sadly, her emerald green eyes watering as Severus hugged her tight.

-Same Day: Malfoy Manor-

Lucius smiled back at one of the muggle boys as him and his father passed him.

His father hit him back in the head, "Don't even look at those disgusting creatures, Lucius. They are worse then the house elves."

Lucius glared at his father, "There is nothing wrong with Dobby! He's my friend."

His father whipped around and smacked Lucius hard around the head, "Shut up you useless freak! Your lucky your mother died, or else I would have had another child and got rid of you years ago!"

~Same Day: 550 Nightgale Road~

"Mummy! mummy look!" Dolores said excitedly, tugging on her mums clock, "It's a quill set! with lots of pink! Can I pleassssseeee get it? Pretty please?"

Her mother smiled at her, "Of course my sweet little girl."

----------------

-June 6th, 1964~

"Mummy?" Sirius asked politely.

"Yes Siri?" His mother replied.

"Where's Rem?" Sirius asked, he had been looking for his sister all morning.

His mother turned and glared at him, "She ran away. She didn't like you."

Sirius nodded and went to his room, tears glistening in his grey eyes.
