I gasped and took a few steps backwards. the women in front of me laughed, "Hello sweetheart!"
I panicked and let out a whimper of terror.
Flora Hope laughed, "Your much to strong to be scared if your mother, Daniel."
That shook me back out of my childhood nightmares, "Your not my mother! Hope Lupin is!"
Flora sneered, "Your not going to be immortal for ever, Daniel." She smiled, "And your mother isn't right now." She disappeared with a pop.
"CLEON!" I screeched and the cat appeared besides me.
"What is it?" He asked quickly.
"Flora is going after Mum! Please try and stop her," I begged. Pain flashed across Cleons face, "It will be too late for both her and Mr.Lupin if I go. If I stay with you, they should be fine."
I took a deep breathe and nodded , "I'd trust you with my life Cleon."

I never heard him whisper, "You will regret that my companion. I'm so sorry."

I lay curled up against Remus on the carriages. The other Marauders said nothing until James spoke, "I think we should let Icess be a Marauder."
I sat up with a squeak, "No! We are the originals! I don't want to add anymore people!"
James glared at her, "She's my sister! And it's not like your one of the originals either!"
I was about to retort when Sirius broke in, "Stop it! I say we have votes for new members!"
James and I glared at each other, but we both nodded.
Cleon purred where he was in Sirius' lap, 'Very smart. See Ringtail, even Citrus can stop a fight between you and James!'
I broke out laughing along with Remus.
James didn't look like he wanted to stop the fight, "Don't forget how many lies Daniel told us!"
I flinched at the use of my full name, and I thought I saw guilt flash in James eyes but I guess I was wrong.
"My mum and dad were talking about how You-Know-Who's kid goes here! and I wonder who else could be the daughter if him then Daniel!"
Cleon stiffened and I gaped at him.
"I-If you haven't noticed, my birth family is Flora and Josh Hope and now my dead baby brother Max and my squib brother Luke."
"Your a lie," James snarled. The carriage stopped and I ran out, Cleon right behind me, begging me to stop.
"Your a lie," Amiie had gasped all those years ago, "Your not my friend! You lied! Your a monster!"
