I couldn't stand this, was my only thought as I sat out by the lake. I couldn't take them not knowing, not knowing what had happened to me.

I couldn't keep lying to them.

I jumped up and ran up the the steps to the common room.

"Ms.Hope!" The fat lady gasped as I ran up soaking wet as it had started to rain by the lake.

"Let me in!" I wailed miserably.

The fat lady looked unsure, "I'm not supposed to with out the password..."

I growled at her,"I'm a messed up kid, and I can do messed up things!"

The fat lady gave a squeak and opened up.

"Thanks! Sorry about the threats!" I called and ran up to the boys dormitory, bumping into Peter along the way.

"Dans! James did-" he started, but changed him into a little grey rat. He gave a squeak of terror as I picked him up.

'MOUSE. PETER MOUSE!' he wailed.

'Rat, not mouse you idiot,' I snapped and threw open the dormitory door. James looks at me where he was being pushed up against the wall by Remus.

"Dans!" He yelped. I changed Remus into a wolf with a flash of pale blue light. Remus looked panicked.

'Run! James Run! Hide hide!' He barked.

'Your fine you idiot!' I snapped and changed James into a brown baby stag.

'JAMES STAG!' he wailed.

I laughed now at the look of horror on Sirius' face.

"I learned it in a book- it tells you what your animal form is."

"YOUR INSANE!" Sirius shouted and blasted a stunning curse at me.

"PROTECTO!"

"Ani Forma!" I shouted and Sirius changed into a little black dog, much like the grim.

Holding the wolf pup, thee puppy, the rat and baby stag (the weight a lot!) Iran off towards Dumbledores office, ignoring the wails and objections from the little animals.

"Headmaster!" I called into the empty office and Dumbledore came down the steps, "Yes Ms.Hope?"

I took a deep breathe, "You told me back in my first year that if I needed help to ask you."

Dumbledore looked surprised, "Is that why Mr.Potter, Lupin, Black and Pettigrew are turned into animals?"

I dropped all the animals abruptly to the floor making them wail in pain and turned them back. They were all silent and staring at Dumbledore.

"Yes, I need to borrow your Pensive, I decided they needed to know why I'm a lie."

James winced guiltily.

Dumbledore nodded and brought the stone bowl out of its spot and put it on his desk, "You know what to do."
