(Guys do you remember the fact that I could NEVER remember to write a Halloween chapter? I REMEMBERED TODAY!)
I haven't talked the other Marauders since the start of school, and it seemed that my snakes and the girls won't talk to me either. So, I've been hiding around the library, trying to find away to protect my parents.
"Here's one," I whispered to Cleon who was sitting on my shoulder, "It says here that in order to create a spell you must know exactly what you want to do, with no loop holes."
Cleon looked at the book too, "Maybe you should ask Sev to help you."
I sighed and closed the book, "No one has talked to me Cleon. I only figured out why yesterday- the Daily Prophet said that my ex mother used one of the Unforgivables to force Professor Higgles to try and kill me, so the ministry had taken more action then before she kill six muggles at a diner."
"Your not effected by dementors either," Cleon said quietly.
"I'm going to go down to dinner," I said tiredly and headed down to the Great Hall.
As it was Halloween tonight, the Great Hall was different: the floating candles were now floating jack-o-lanterns, and most students where dressed up. I had skipped Halloween Dinner both in First and Second year, and now I remeber why: Everyone was there and almost all the Gryffindor table was full. Normally, the other Marauders would save a spot for me,(Even through i would never come) but i dont want to take the risk of seeing they didnt and just decided to sit by myself in a open spot at the very end of the table.
Noone trieded to talk to me while we ate and i didnt try and talk to them. My fists clentched and i bit my lip hard enough to draw blood as i listiened to their converstation.
"Did you hear?" a first year asked her friend in front of her, "Sirius Black is on his 4th girl friend this year!"
the girls broke out into a fit of giggles and jumped when I stood up and stormed out of the Great Hall, trying to hold in my rage.
_ third person_
Remus watched with wide amber eyes as Danni stormed out of the Great Hall.
Sirius was flirting with his latest girl friend, dead to the rest of the world, but James seemed to noitce too.
"I bet you three galleons that she thinks we think shes a monster," James said guiltily. Remus nodded in agreement, "We've been avoiding her for months now."
-Danni's POV-
I stormed out of the castle into the cool autum air. It was dark out, but i could see pretty well, probebly because of my animegus. I leaned back against the tree by the lake and looked over the water until I heard soft footfalls from behind me.
"Dans?" James asked, running up to me.
I ignored him and slid down the tree, sitting at its base. Remus came up behind him, panting, "You okay?"
I ignored him. Peter came and sat next to me, not saying a word. I smiled at him and his eyes widened in surprise.
"Hey, can you just say for okay so I can go back to my girlfriend?" Sirius asked impatiently as he walked up. I ignored him and clenched my fists.
"Shut up," James hissed at him.
"I'm fine, just go back up to the castle," I said quietly.
James shook his head, "Your not and you know it."
I stood up,"Then I'll do you the favor and go back myself." It had started to rai lightly and I began to jog lightly back to the castle.
"Wait! Danni!" Peter called and I turned around in surprise. Peter stood in front of me.
"Look, we don't think your a monster or bad or anything like that. These idiots just can't give up their pride to tell you so," he said a little nervously. I smiled for real in the first time for a long time, "Thanks Pete."
I hugged him making him squeak rather loudly. The other boys came up and I turned to them, "Your lucky Pete here had the guts to put away his pride to tell me your thoughts."
Sirius rolled his eyes while James smirked and Remus looked to his feet.
(Short chapter yes, but the next one will be my newest favorite!! XD)
