Ameena POV:

We were meant to be watching tv but ended up chatting.

"Your such a retard Rayhan... God knows what Maryam sees in you." I laughed pushing my brother playfully. My brother was 28 and was married to my sister in law Maryam.

Maryam was 9 months pregnant and was the most amazing sister in law ever. I had a good relationship with her Alhamdulilah mainly because I never really had a proper sister. It was always me and Rayhan- although he did act like a girl at times.

"What was that Amzy?" Maryam said walking in with her hand on her belly. Rayhan got up and helped her sit down on the sofa, kissed the back of her hand and then took a seat next to her.

"Nothing Maryam and its Ameena. You know I don't like it when people abbreviate my name." I chuckled shifting my attention to my brother who was just staring at Maryam.

"Rayhan stop staring at my dear sister. You're going to scare her off." Maryam looked down shyly whilst Rayhan got his hands out pretending to choke me.

"Rayhan, you are about to be a dad- can't you act mature for once please?" My mum sighed making Maryam drink water.

"And you Ameena; Muhammad's mum and family are coming to see you today and you aren't even ready! Ya allah (oh god) there's so much you have to learn." She continued. Me and Rayhan looked at each other and smirked before kissing her on the cheeks. I kissed her on her right whilst Rayhan kissed her left.

"Sorry am-ma (mum)." Me and Rayhan said in unison.

My mum smiled and clipped both our ears as we all erupted in laughter.

"Right Maryam, its 12:40. They should be coming at 4:00 make sure Ameena's ready. I will cook don't worry." My mum smiled as Maryam stroked and patted her stomach.

"Rayhan the baby's kicking." She said as Rayhan ran and put his hand on her stomach. "That's amazing Alhamdulliah (praise be to the Allah) its a boy because it kicks hard. Can you imagine him with a football." I chuckled as Rayhan and Maryam looked into each others eyes lovingly and smiled at each other. I was going to speak but decided against ruining their 'moment'

"Assalamualykum (peace be with you)." My dad said walking in prompting Maryam and Rayhan to look away from each other.

"Waalykumussalam (and peace be with you)." We all said in unison. My mum went to get my dad some snacks and we chatted for a while. My dad was a business man and owned a couple of restaurants. Which meant we were very well off with money Alhamdulliah. Although he always looked tired.

"You look tired dad. Are you sure you don't want me at the restaurant tomorrow?" Rayhan asked holding Maryams hand.

"I'm okay seriously. Maryam needs you at this time Rayhan. She's already 9 months." My dad explained.

"I really don't mind dad. Its only one day and I doubt anything will happen plus I've got mum and Ameena." Maryam responded.

Dad agreed eventually; He looked at his watch. He got up did wudhu and so did Rayhan. Then they left for the mosque whilst the rest of us prayed at home. Maryam prayed on a chair because of the baby.
