Ameena POV:

Talking to Sara took my mind off leaving home; in between an argument with Khalid and Sara; I thought to myself that crying wasn't going to do me any good. I was going to miss my mum and my family but It was not like I'd never see them again. Alhamdulliah they're still in this world and I can see them whenever I want.

"Auntie! Can you tell Khalid?" Sara yelled. I heard Talha telling Muhammed that we were going to stay at a hotel today. In my head I was dreading it; although Muhammed was now my husband I barely knew him.

"Auntie!" She bellowed pulling my hand.

"Sara, Khalid. Stop arguing or else I won't give you both a sweet." I bribed them. It seemed to work as both of them stop arguing straight away.

Talha then stopped the car outside a hotel. We all got out the car even Sara and Khalid. Talha took my suitcases out then gave Muhammed a suitcase bag they had packed for him. Talha even brought Muhammed's credit card to pay for the hotel. Sara and Khalid were chasing each other around the car park much to Aysha's dismay.

"See you tomorrow at 9 then." He said before walking into the car.

"Sara, Khalid come on we're going now." Aysha said in a gentle tone. They sat inside the car with no fuss and waved goodbye to us from the back of the car. When we lost sight of the car me and Muhammed just looked at each other.

"So we better check in then." He said scratching the back of his hair. I followed him into the hotel and everyone's eyes were on me. I had no idea why until I realised I was in my wedding dress. Whilst Muhammed checked I sat on the sofa and looked down trying to avoid all the eyes. Once Muhammed had checked in he told me to follow him as we went towards the lift the lady who was next to the man Muhammed checked in by smiled at me saying "Congratulations." I  mouthed thank you to her.

We entered our room and there was nothing but silence. Muhammed broke the silence when he said; "We better change and have a shower, do you wanna go first?" He beamed at me. "You go first, its going to take me ages to take my scarf off." I said to him in return I went to the mirror and started taking pins out.

I was right when I said that because Muhammed had finished showering and I still hadn't taken my scarf off. His hair was still wet when he approached me. I'd been trying to take a certain pin out for a long time.

"Here." He said trying to take the pin out also. Its funny how my heart would beat fast whenever he came near me. It happened at the house, the. restaurant and its happening now. He eventually pulled it out and helped me take the rest of the pins out which was really nice and sweet. Once all the pins were out I draped my scarf and made my way into the bathroom.

I changed into a abaya and came out the bathroom with a scarf randomly draped on my head. Muhammed was sitting on the sofa playing a game on his phone. As soon as he saw me he put his phone to one side and drifted his attention to me.

"Take your scarf off and dry your hair you're going to get a cold." Muhammed said throwing me a towel. I looked at him with the towel which I caught in one hand.

"Seriously dry your hair we don't want you getting a cold on the Walima." He continued. I nodded as I realised he made sense plus he was my husband now.

I took my scarf off and started drying my hair.  Muhammed and myself maintained an eye contact whilst I dried my hair. My heart started beating faster for the fourth time as he came closer to me.

"When I was studying in Madressa I was told a man's beauty is his beard and a women's beauty is her hair. I finally understood why I was told that. Mash'allah you look even more beautiful." He continued putting his hand on my cheek. I also put my hand there as my heart was beating even more then before.

That was when I realised I was in love with him. A couple of hours. I knew I was in love with him because of how my heart was beating. The words he said to me and how he said it. Plus I knew that if he would have told me to do anything I would have done it without even thinking.

Muhammed phone then rang which we both sighed as it broke the eye contact we had going.  We then laughed silently before he went to answer the phone. He talked for a while before he was told to give the phone to me. I took it then sat down on the sofa with him. It was his mum on the phone. She was mainly welcoming me to the family. She sounded slightly upset. I figured it was because her son was growing up.

When I finished on the phone I hung up.

"Come on we gotta pray Asr (3rd prayer of the day)  and then pray Nafil (optional) Salaah." He said to me taking the phone and putting it to a side.

"Are you not going to the Masjid?" I asked him. He looked at me giving me a musallah (prayer mat) before saying:

"I can't leave you by myself can I?" He responded.

"I'll be fine, I don't want to be the reason you don't go to the Masjid." I continued. He smiled at me before doing ablution.

"Don't pray the Nafil salaah till I come back." He said; he then left the room and I did ablution and started praying my Asr.

As I finished Muhammed came back. I folded my musallah slightly and out one out in front for him. He prayed in front of me.

Once we had finished we called room service for some food. We only ordered the vegetarian food as we had no idea if it was halal (allowed) or haraam (prohibited).

When the food came we washed our hands and began to eat it.

"Tell me about yourself." Muhammad beamed.

"What do you wanna know?"

"I dunno your hobbies, what you like to eat and I dunno, just anything."

"I don't really have a hobby unless you count singing a nasheed ( Islamic song) for my nephew a hobby. I eat anything really. I'm not a fussy eater. I make anything I can and eat it.  That's about it really tell me about yourself."

"My life's like any Muslims life, Islam comes before anything. Allah come before anyone as for hobbies I like reading stories of the prophets and learning more about Islam. Now my hobbies is trying to get to know more about you." He chuckled I felt myself going red in the cheeks before saying

"That's going to be difficult as I'm hard to figure out. Rayhan says I'm impossible."  I  responded back drinking some water. I felt like I knew Muhammed for a life time. Then I realised that quote.

‘50,000 years before the sky was introduced to the sea, Allah wrote down your name next to me..’
