Muhammed:
After yesterday's dinner I felt a bit more comfortable talking to Ameena. I think she felt the same because of the replies she gave me.
"Ameena it's Fajar time." I said gentally massaging her arm. I took the time to take in the fact that I was now married.
"Ameena!" I said again she mumbled something and turned away. I did that a couple of times and the same thing happened.
After a while I decided to sprinkle some water so took some water from the sink and sprinkled some water on her lightly. She wiped the water off her face and I did the same thing again until she woke up.
She gave me a smile and thanked me as she then went to do wudu (ablution) when she came back her face looked so enlightening and beautiful I took a minute or two to take it in.
"You better get to the Masjid." She said taking out an abaya and wearing a scarf on her head. I smiled at her before leaving.
"See you in a bit. In'sha'allah." I said before closing the door.
I made my way to the Masjid but when I arrived there was only a row of brothers. That's kind of what happens at Fajar time. Everyone sleeps and forgets that Fajar is one of the five daily namaaz's and sleeping is not.
I joined the line and the imaam of the Masjid started the salaah. when you pray behind an imaam there are certain words you can and cannot say. So I was careful about the words I said and the words I couldn't say.
When I finished I greeted some of the brothers at the Masjid and greeted the imaam and made my way back to to the house.
Ameena waited for me and we slept again. We woke up 3 hours later. The thing about praying Fajar is that when you wake up after a while. You feel so much peace and blessing around you. I can't explain the feeling. It's just electric. We had a shower because we wouldn't get the chance once we got home.
I don't know what happened to Ameena overnight but she kept and talking in the morning. I realised this was what Rayhan was talking about.
We eventually checked out the hotel when Talha rang and said he was waiting for us in the car.
Khalid was the only one in the car along with Talha.
"Aysha's helping Sara and Yahya get ready. Which is why she didn't come." Talha explained. I don't think Ameena had seen Yahya yet. Yesterday he was with Talha or my dad a lot of the time.
After Talha said that the ride home was quiet. Although we had Khalid shouting random things through the window which we had to stop him from doing.
As soon as we arrived home my mum engulfed Ameena in a hug. My dad was standing there but decided to ignore me but I didn't let that get to me. It was my Walima day.
Aysha then brought Yahya and Sara down although Aysha herself was not ready.
"Go sit on the sofa." She said to Sara letting go of her hand and passing Yahya on to my dad.
"Can I not play?" Sara responded looking at Khalid who was playing with his toys.
"Sorry Sara. I've just done your hair and I know you'll mess it up." Aysha replied with guilt in her eyes.
Sara began to walk away until she saw Ameena. She walked towards her and gave her a hug. She then held Ameena right hand and stood with her.
A lady knocked on the door, she came to do Ameena's scarf. Aysha and my mum took Ameena and the lady who came to do her scarf upstairs and of course Sara went along as well.
