Muhammad POV:

I was expecting the girl to be disappointed because I had got rejected quite a few times. It had never gotten as far as to when we went to the girls house.  She answered every question my mum asked her in a beautiful manner. Saying Alhamdulliah. I loved the comment she made about Fajr.  I don't think she noticed but I grinned a lot. I noticed she was wearing an abaya. I admired that she had enough respect for herself that she covered herself completely.

I was dreading talking to her alone and Rayhan made things alot better. Note the sarcasm. He was my best friend and that was his sister so it was awkward for me as well as her I think.

I eventually decided that I might be spending the rest of my life with her so I might as well ask her questions.

I came out with...

"What do you want a husband?"

Rayhan commented on her shyness which made me laugh. I liked that she was shy.

"I would like my husband to be like the Prophet (SAW). I  think his relationship with his wives was amazing- in particular Hadrat Aysha (RA)." She replied still looking down. That answer was perfect! I remembered thinking about that before.

"What have you studied?"  She muttered still looking down, I saw Rayhan trying to keep his laughter in.

"I have finished an Aalim course the same time as Rayhan." I replied.  I asked some more questions and every time was impressed with the answers given.

"How would you like your wife to dress on her wedding day?" She asked.

"Ameena!" Rayhan screamed quietly. Is that even possible?
"Its okay Rayhan. I would like y... I mean my 'wife' to dress modestly, because I believe that women are like gems only found in the deepest of oceans. " I explained.

"Would you like her to wear a scarf?" She asked.

"I would like her to feel comfortable but personally yes. Women's beauty is in her hair. I would not want any one else to look at her hair  once the Nikah (wedding) done. She's now my wife and I don't want any one else to see her beauty. However if she would want to show her hair I would respect that as I would want the marriage to be segregated." I don't know if I was making any sense but I saw her smile. Which told me she was impressed with my answer.

Rayhan looked at his clock.

"Before I burst out laughing are there any other questions or do you want to go?" He said breaking the silence once again. We both got up at the same time and as we reached the door I stopped and let her go first both our gazes were fixed to the floor.

When we entered the room. They didn't even realised we had walked in. They were so busy talking. Rayhan coughed and they turned their heads back to us.

"I'm happy with her Raeesah. I'll give you a call once Muhammad decides. We don't want them to rush. Maryam come down to my house some time; you should see my grandkids. They just can't stop arguing." My mum said getting up and going towards Maryam. She then whispered something in Ameena ears before hugging her. I said my goodbyes to Rayhan and Musa and we left the house.

"I like her. What about you?" Mum said when we got home. I didn't know how to drive yet but was learning so Rayhan dropped us off home.

"So you keep saying! I need to think about it." I replied. My mum kept complimenting her.

"Come on you must have some kind of idea." My mum pushed.

"I dunno. I need to pray to Allah. He knows best." I responded

The house was quiet and my mum went next door to tell them about Ameena.

I sat down and engaged myself in Zikr (remembrance of Allah) When it was Asr time I went down to the mosque and then eventually the next thing I knew it was Magrib then Isha. I prayed them both in the Masjid Alhamdulillah. I then ate the food and throughout eating all I heard was praises about Ameena.

I then got ready for bed and prayed a special prayer which is called Istikharah. It is when you ask Allah to help you decide what to do. He then guides you in a dream. After All he does know best.

I then went to sleep as soon as I finished all my doubts was cleared during this dream- I then knew I was going to say yes in'sha'allah.
