Ameena POV:

It was 9:05 and the day of my wedding day. I was mixed with emotions and my makeup was being done by a makeup artist. I didn't need to get my hair done because I was going to wear a Scarf. The scarf professional would be here at 10:30 and the wedding was at 3:00. We had to be there before the groom.

"Yasmin, Hannah, Asma, Maariya!" I squealed. They were my cousins who lived in the other sides of the town. "I missed you all so much!" I screamed as they entered my room. All of them were married and had children. All their children were running riot downstairs. I could here my Aunties shouting and screaming for them to calm down.

My room was a mess. This was because of all the packing I had to do. I wanted to take everything in my wardrobe but Mum told me to limit the number of abayas I take. I didn't know which one to choose. In the process of doing this I lost my favourite charm bracelet. My dad brought it me when I was a kid. Back then we used to struggle for money My grandma used to give me the charms before she passed away. it reminded me of her so I turned the whole room upside down trying to find it. I eventually found it stuck onto one of my abayas.

"Soo... How's the bride feeling?" Hannah asked.

"Nervous, happy, upset and terrified and..." I said speaking really fast.

"Calm down; let's kick start this wedding with some Nasheeds (Islamic songs)" Maariyah enthusiasticlly said reaching for my CDs.

"Put on the Maher Zain vocals CD on." I beamed moving slightly so the makeup lady sighed.

"Sorry I won't do it again." I groaned.

"That's the tenth time you said that." She laughed. I laughed too as Asma and Yasmin engaged in conversation with the makeup artist who's name was Umaymah.

"Which one all of them are vocals." She sighed looking at the CDs one by one. I really liked the Maher zain vocals only version it sounded better and it had no instruments.

"It doesn't matter. I've picked one." She continued. Putting it in the CD player and Maher zain for the rest of my life was playing. I found this Nasheed really cute especially when the husband and wife are praying salaah (prayer) behind each other.

"For the rest of my life I'll be with you; I stand by your side honest and true till the end of my time. I'll be loving you." It was truly beautiful.

"I'm here!" Khadija yelled walking into my room. She looked around and saw Hannah and and the rest of my cousins and went to hug them.

"All done; you look beautiful Mashallah; do you want help getting into your wedding dress." Umayma commented looking down at me. I nodded but told her to sit down for a while.

She agreed and started packing up her makeup. Maryam then entered with Yusuf and all my cousin encircled them. She looked at me and smiled. She looked slightly teary.

"Maryam let her wear her wedding dress first." Khadija joked. Maryam slapped her playfully and Asma took Yusuf to play with. Yusuf looked so cute in his suit that I had brought him; it matched my wedding dress.

"Are you still not ready Maryam?" My mum enquired.

"You go get ready I'll take care of Yusuf."

That's the only thing I heard because Umaymah dragged me into the toilets to wear my wedding dress on. As soon as I came out my mum who now had Yusuf in her hands began to become emotional.
