There was an irritable tapping on my cheek. I didn't like it so I rolled onto my back to continue my peaceful sleep. I then feel something climb up onto my chest. Suddenly the slight weight caused by the thing was gone, then it was back again, then gone, the back, then gone. This discomfort went on until I opened my eyes.

I see Blue standing there on my chest with his arms crossed. I also see the sun, how dare it show its ugly face. " You are very hard to wake up big guy, anyway it's breakfast time for you." He snorts in slight amusement.

I was confused to say the least, why would he offer me food? " Wha....do you mean?" I sleepily slur. The prince points to the ground and my gaze tiredly follows to find a cart, about the size of my palm, filled with all kinds of fruits. The prince slides off my chest and sit up.

Blue then walks the the cart saying, " I know it may not be much to you, but it's all I could rally up this morning." I look at the cart suspiciously, is it safe to eat the town's food? I could deplete it really fast. I will not lie I was hungry, I did unwilling skipped three meals.

"Oh, no, it's ok I am not hungry." I lie through my teeth. Blue looks at me skeptically. I smile at him reassuringly, but my body betrays me by letting my stomach growl. I bring my knees to my chest as my lie became see through. " You're not hungry huh? Then why is your stomach rumbling?" The prince questioned crossing his arms. I shrug and look away. " Eat the damned fruit big guy. We can not have you starving, now can we?"

" I shrug again and mutter, " I guess not...but we could..." Blue taps his foot and points to the cart. Sighing I shift closer the cart and pick it up with both hands. Blue nods approvingly and walks away.

Frowning to myself I tip my head back and dump the mouthful of fruit into my maw. I chew slowly and swallow. The fruit doesn't help my hunger alot, but it helps a little. I put the cart down and see if I could find blue. He is nowhere in sight. Being alone makes me feel kinda sad.

That is until a familiar voice shout, " Beast! How dare you live when you could hurt a person! A person like Rayn! So you will die to day!" The voice belonged to Jonathan. He had that funny smell that Blue called alcohol, he was stumbling around, and in his hand he had that thing that initially helped bring me here. The thing worried me. Also, did he say I'd hurt Rayn? I would never do that! " I-I wouldn't h-harm anyone...e-especially not R-rayn..." I stutter.

" I DON'T BELIEVE YOU BASTARD OF A MONSTER!" roared Johnathan. Why is this guy yelling at me? I never harmed Rayn or anyone for that matter. I want to go back to my tree. I want to go back to my boring life with Rayn's near daily visits. I fear that will either never happen or it will be a very long time before it does. I turn my attention back to the tiny man that want my head. I tilt my head to the side as I see him trying to stuff five silver looking things into the original thing. I am very confused. I don't know what anything is right now...and I don't like it.

With what looked like great difficulty Jonathan lifted the thing with the siverish things in it and aimed it at my chest. Should I move out of the way? I don't know what to do. WIth five loud bangs the five silverish things fly through the air. One of the things embeds itself into my cheek, three of them embeds into my right shoulder, and the last one embeds into my neck.

When they first impaled my skin it hurt no more than a simple bug bite, but now they all started to burn like the hottest flames. My vision starts to swim. Are the things actually silver? Is this why the spots they are in feel like death itself? Blood starts to leak from the small wounds. 'Oh crap the things are silver' I realize as the the wounds stat to pour with my blood. The silver amplified the blood flow I guess. My swimming vision turns black as I topple over. Before I completely black out I hear crackling and think to myself, ' I am ready to meet my cruel cruel maker...'
