Chapter Twenty-Five Sunnydale

Spike's POV

We arrived to Sunnydale, and the whole town was deserted. Just how I remember it exactly.

Flashback

"Spike run!" Buffy yelled.

"No!" I yelled back and attacked the Uber-Vamp. He was about to snap Buffy's neck, but I was to late. The vamp already killed Buffy. She was the last Slayer here, and the last one to ever be on earth. There was no more slayers in waiting, or any actual slayers to take Buffy's place. I felt something flare in my chest, and I realized that it was anger. I threw a punch, and hit the Uber-Vamp, but got thrown back in the process. I landed into something, and fell to the ground. Then I looked up to see that the Vampire had left already. I got up feeling tears in my eyes. I picked up Buffy, and walked to the cemetary.

End Of Flashback

I sighed and pulled into the house that Buffy used to live in. I heard the other cars pull up.

Bella's POV

Everybody pulled up behind Spike, and got out of the cars after parking them, and shutting them off. I got into his head, and saw his flashback. I instantly felt bad.

This must be where she used to live. I thought.

"What's wrong Bells?" Kayla asked. I shook my head and she stayed silent after that.

"I'm going to patrol." Kayla said sighing.

"Not alone." Elijah said sternly.

"I will." Stefan said nodding. Kayla nodded, and so did Elijah.

"Stakes." Kayla said going to the trunk and grabbed two. Stefan walked up to her as she held the stake out. Stefan took it.

"Just don't trip." Kayla joked smirking. There was a few chuckles that were heard and everybody started going onto the house. All but Kayla, and Stefan.

Stefan's POV

Kayla and I started to walk around the vacant town. It was silent for a few minutes, but I noticed something.

"Kayla what's wrong?" I asked frowning at her.

"I'm worried about Elena. She doesn't-" Kayla cut her self off with a huge grin. I continued to frown at her.

"What are you thinking?" I asked as glass shattered.

"Not important right now." she muttered as we started running to the sound of broken glass. We got to it, and the store said 'Magic Box,' but it looked like it was burnt down.

"Help me!" a woman yelled. We both ran inside and saw a girl around fourteen years old. We also saw the Bringers.

"Hey! Pick on someone your own size!" Kayla yelled getting ready by taking out her stake. I held mine out to and our faces changed. They started coming after us, and we fought them off, and killed them all. Kayla walked up to the girl slowly.

"Are you ok?" she asked as she kneeled down next to her.

"I think so. Who were those guys?" the girl asked.

"What's your name?" Kayla asked changing the subject, and held out her hand for the girl to take. The girl took her hand and got up with Kayla.

"I'm Roseanne. Who are you?" she asked looking at both of us. Then she started backing up, "What are you?" she added.

"I'm Kayla, and this is Stefan. Don't worry we will not hurt you." Kayla comforted by walking slowly up to Roseanne holding a hand out. Roaseanne nodded, and took Kayla's waiting hand again.
