I don't really know if you're a basketball person… you kind of struck me as a basketball person! :P Enjoy!

Won't you just tell me?

I sent to him. Don't get me wrong, I love surprises, but I was so curious!

Nope. It's all a surprise for our first date! xx

I sighed, checking myself in the mirror again. I applied another layer of lip gloss, fixing my eye liner. "Alright, Lex, you look great!" I reassured myself, waiting for the Aston Martin to pull up to the house.

As Louis said in his text earlier, it was our first date. My first date with Louis Tomlinson! I couldn't believe it, and since he wasn't telling me where we were going, it was even more surreal.

I heard an engine stop outside. I grabbed my purse, which was overflowing with junk, and met Louis at the front door. "Ready to go?" he asked, holding a hand out. I nodded, smiling.

He had dressed in his trademark outfit, but with the colors mixed around. Very blue trousers and a white shirt with yellow stripes made up the ensemble, as well as matching yellow toms.

Does this boy have toms in every color?

Louis and I had met through the Madison Square Garden show. I was walking home from basketball practice and I cut through a back alley to reach home quicker when I ran into him.

And I mean that literally.

He was leaving the show through the back alley when we both knocked into each other. He immediately stood up, worried that he had hurt me. I laughed it off as usual.

We talked for the couple of mintues that he could, and left with each other's numbers. Over texts, we planned our first date, and here we are, driving through the streets of New York.

The car started to slow down and I knew we were getting ready to stop. I looked over at the British boy with excitement, the same emotion reflecting in his eyes. As the car pulled up to the curb, I smiled excitedly.

Louis jumped out on his side and ran over to open my door. He smile goofily, obviously trying hard to hold back his excitement. "Why thank you, fine sir!" I spoke in the best British accent I could muster.

He looked at me weirdly before we both broke out into laughter. "Okay that sucked." I added, looking around. "Where the heck are we?"

He laughed, grabbing my hand and taking me into a large building. We walked through the lobby, riding the elevator up to the roof of the building. I kept giving him weird looks, totally blanking out on where we could be going.

Stepping out onto the roof of the building, I was taken aback by a large blast of wind. I looked out, and could have cried with happiness.

"A helicopter?" I yelled over the sound of the large vehicle. "Hope you're not afraid of heights." He smirked, taking my hand again.

"Louis, this has been the best date ever! You're amazing."

The helicopter ride was one of the greatest experiences I've ever had, the view of the New York City skyline was gorgeous! We then ended up walking around Times Square and terrorizing the poor citizens by yelling random things at them, planking, Louis even went so far as to pants a poor businessman.

As it was only four o'clock then, Lou and I bought tickets to the Bronx Zoo and watched the animals, with him and I imitating them.

I now sat across from Louis at a small cafe, a perfect end to a perfect day.

Louis' POV

I sat across the table from Alexandria, Lex as I called her, taking in her appearance. She had glowing green eyes, always shining with happiness, and bright, red hair. Her personality was what I liked best, though. She was spunky and wild, not afraid to make herself known.

"I had a great day, really." Lex added to her previous comment. "So did I." I spoke, smiling with the first real happiness I'd felt in a long time.

Sitting across from this bold soul, I knew she was the one for me, and I wanted to stay with her forever.
