"Listen creep I'm not meeting you anywhere unless you give me a name." I say

"It's Javaad."

"Javaad?" I ask

"Yes." The voice says

"Are you like Arabic or something?"

"Uhhh-"

"I'm sorry ha. I just don't exactly know you. How'd you get my number again?"

"From a waitress at your work."

As if that's not creepy at all...

"Well, why didn't you just ask me?"

"I was nervous."

"I'm sorry about your nerves I guess.."

"So where can I take you out my darling?" He says

"Uh i dunno a restaurant or something."

"How about something fun like the new carnival in town?"

"Oh.."

"What's wrong?"

"I'm just not comfortable around things.."

"Things like?" He bugs

"Things like clowns!"

"I'll protect you." He laughs

I say nothing.

"Don't worry there won't be any."

"How do you know?" I ask

"They're hardly ever there." He reassures

"Well I'm gonna go with that..but I'll be super pissed if I see a clown."

"Okay okay."

"I mean it!"

"Okay!"

"You'll owe me!"

"I get it. So around 7?"

"Yeah that works."

I hang up the phone and call Hope letting her know what happened. She's extremely hesitant.

"Uh maybe this isn't the best idea?!" She shouts

"Why not?"

"Oh I don't know probably because there's a such thing as HUMAN TRAFFICKING?! You don't know this guy!"

"Which is why he's taking me out duh!" I say

"That's no excuse."

"It's good enough for me. There's nothing to worry about. Especially because we're gonna be in a public place Hope!" I exclaim

"Whatever. I'm not gonna be the one to say I told you so when you get raped or something!"

"Whatever."

I hang up. So maybe she frustrates me. I know what I'm doing I mean it's not like he's a complete stranger. Maybe he's a complete stranger but it could be worse? I could've met this dude on the internet. Maybe it's pretty similar but whatever! It's my choice!

I get dressed in a red cut off shirt and some high wasted shorts. I put on a pair of converse wedges that're white and gold. I run downstairs and hug my dad. I walk outside telling him I'll be home before midnight.

I stroll off and get into my car. I drive eventually finding the carnival. As always, it's packed. I park and get out wondering how the hell I'm gonna find this dude when I don't even know what he looks like. Maybe this isn't such a great idea because I have a bad feeling about this.
