Rave with 5sos

Rave; (noun): A party with large crowds, loud music and good times.

 It was the last day of the school year. You just finished year 10. You and your best friend, Kat, were heading to a rave on Bondi Beach. You were decked out in denim, frayed shorts and a brightly coloured Aztec print singlet with coca-cols sunnies perched on your head. Your mum drops you and Kat off up at the watchtower, where lines to get in were backed up on either side even though the event wasn't due to start for another half an hour. Lucky for you two, your tickets were VIP so you got in before everyone else.

Your tickets get checked and your hands are stamped with the words 'good life'. You and Kat were escorted to the VIP section backstage where something amazing happened. As you entered, you saw the other 10 VIPs and one of the bands performing tonight, getting photos and talking. Beside you, Kat stifles a scream. It was your favourite band 5SOS!!! You both were massive fans of them, although Kat dedication was stronger. You had already decided you were going to marry Ashton and Kat was going to marry Luke.

Ashton and Luke finish taking a photo with another girl. They both look up to you and Kat standing awkwardly in the doorway. They both smile and usher you over.

“Hey gorgeous what's your name” Ashton asks you.

“I'm Y/N and I didn't know you guys were performing! I'm so excited!” you say trying to hide your awkwardness.

“I know! It was last minute but I'm excited too” Ashton laughs.

Before you can ask for a photo, Calum interrupts and says that the band was getting a photo with all the VIPs. You walk over to the group to see Kat standing with Luke on one side and Calum on the other. When you get there though, Ashton whispers something in Calum's ear and he moves over. You slip in Between Kat and Ashton. Ashton readjusts his red bandanna and puts a muscular arm arm around you. You catch a glimpse of Luke doing the same to Kat. Calum's mum asks if there's anyone who wants the photo on their phone and everyone reaches for there pockets. You hand your phone over last. All the photos are taken and because your phone was last, you got a nice one and a silly one. Ashton makes everyone laugh with his drumstick devil horns and you get to wear his bandanna. The boys then leave to go warm up but you and the others stay in the VIP area.

“OMG! That was so awesome! Guess what Luke said to me!” Kat squeals, quietly because the 5SOS mums were still in the room.

“I know right! What did he say?!” you reply as equally excited.

“He asked if you and I wanted to make a stage appearance while they were performing!! I said yes, of course! And he also called me beautiful and kissed my cheek!” Kats blushes and makes dimples with her fingers.

“Oh My god. that's crazy we get to go on stage with 5SOS! And No way that's so sweet I can't believe he kissed you!! This is the best day ever!!” you squeal a little too loud.

“I know! It's....” Kat was cut off by a security guard.

“Hi sorry to interrupt, are you both Y/N and Kat?”

“Yup”, you say in unison.

“Okay, good, can you too come with me? We are going to get you fitted with ear pieces for your appearance.” the guard says.

“OOO yay! Do you know what we are doing?” Kat asks.

“I think your singing and just mucking around. It was the boys idea.”

“sounds so cool!” I say, playing it cool.

Turns out there were two other girls going too! The girls were really nice.

**********************Later************************

“Hey Bondi! Thanks for being such a great audience! Tonight we have some of you guys to come out here to sing and mess around with us. Can you four lovely girls come out!!”

The crowds cheer as you walk on stage, microphones in hand. You can barely see the stage with all the bright lights but yo manage to see a few familiar faces.

“hey girls! What are you name please tell us your favourite 5SOS member!”

You go first and sound really confident and happy.

“Hey! I'm Y/N and Ashton is the coolest in the band he's my favourite”

Kat goes next.

“Hiya! I'm Kat and Luke is the best in the band. No offence” Kat laughs.

The other girls go and then the boys start playing Heartbreak girl.

The Boys get to the chorus and then Luke tell you girls to take over. You girls belt out the chorus, not caring how horrible you sound.

'I dedicate this song to you,

The boys finish the song and you smile. This is crazy, you are on stage with your idols, sharing microphones, joking around with them. And then this happens. Luke says

“Kat is the best singer! No offence” he is so cheeky. Ashton stands up and starts to talk;
“So tonight I met this gorgeous girl, she was so sweet and I just wanted to give her this.”

Ashton walks over to you, takes you and kisses you deep on your lips. Fireworks fly and the crowd cheers and you vaguely here calum in the background say;

“Smash does it again”
