You woke up this morning to your phone ringtone going off and vibrating on your bedside table. You groan as you roll over and answer your Phone without opening your eyes.
'Hello?,"your raspy voice surprises you.
"hey Kat! I'm so sorry to wake you but whats your favourite starbucks??", It was Luke, your boyfriend of almost a year, being the dorky sweetheart he was.
"oh hey babe that's ok umm why don't you surprise me?" you say giggling to yourself thinking about him holding up the morning rush at the Starbucks counter trying to figure out what to get you.
"aha ok gorgeous love you, you can go back to sleep now! sweet dreams," he blows a kiss through the phone.
"I'm going to try to do that. love you" you responded, make an exaggerated kiss noise and hang up.
You lie there for ten minutes, trying to get back to sleep but failing, so you chuck your sheetss away and slouch out of bed into your sunlight filled ensuite. You freshen up with a shower and head out to the lounge room in an oversized sweater, leggings and one of Luke's beanies. You sit down and flick through shows as he sneaks in behind you.
"One Fairy Floss Frappe for Kat", he says behind you, kissing your cheek a thousand times as he jumps over the couch.
"Thanks baby you are so sweet!" you kiss his lips, tasting the coffee and lean on his shoulder as Luke slides his muscular arm around your slim body.
"so my gorgeous girl on my way here i purchased some very chick like movies that i wish to share with you today"he says in a fake english accent, putting his coffe down and whipping out several movies from his back pockets.
"i got rom- com, i got sweet, i got disney, i got your favourites he says chucking the dvds on the coffe table.
"naww thanks Luke I've been dying for a day like this!"you smile kissing him tenderly on the neck, you know he likes being kissed there.
"Anything for my amazing girl."he whispers as he kisses your lips gently holding your cheek.
once you finish your starbucks you cuddle on the couch and watch a couple of movies. Just at the climax of a movie Luke blurts out;
"Man im hungry!" he grins as you both sit up.
"Kat can we make cookies?" he pleads, puppy eyes with pouty lips.
"i don't see why not!" you say jumping up and heading for the kitchen.both of you get half way through making them when he groans and says;
"Can we just eat the batter? i hate waiting for them to cook!"
"Fine but i get the bowl!" you scream, snatching the bowl and racing for the couch.
"Kat! wait up!"he chuckle racing after you.
you both land on the couch in a fit of giggles and kisses. Once it dies down a little you finish eating the raw cookie batter. you both snuggle and luke eventually falls asleep, still hugging you close as protective as always.
