You hear a small cry as you dump your keys on the counter. You'd finished high school just under 6 months ago, and you and your boyfriend of 2 years, wanted a gap year. You got a job in retail and Aaron was taking an online TAFE course.
"Hey babe, I'm in the lounge room with Greyson" Aaron yells over Graysons crying.
You wander into the loungeroom. Aaron cuddling with Grayson, slowly calming down. A smile spreads across your face at the sight. Aaron is so sweet.
Greyson calms down as you sit down next to Aaron.
"How was your day?" Aaron asks, looking down at the baby.
"Pretty good how's this gorgeous little guy?" you coo at Grayson, hinting that you want to hold the tiny baby.
Aaron smiles and gently hands him to you. He fixes your arms so that you hold him correctly.
There's a quite comfortable silence as you holding the tiny newborn.
Aaron wraps an arm around you and leans his head on your shoulder.
"I would like to have my own little baby one day. i just want my own little kid to love and spoil." he says quietly.
"So would I" you say dreamily.
"When the time comes, and you get to have your own baby, I want to be right beside you, smiling, crying, laughing, anything as long as its besides you" Aaron say sitting up and taking your hand gently so he doesnt disturb the sleeping bubby.
"I love you Aaron and I honestly don't think my life would be complete without you," you smile as you stare into his dark eyes and smile. You lean in, careful of the baby in your arms and kiss him lightly for a few seconds.
" I'm going to put Greyson down. then can we cuddle?" you say quiet and sweet for effect.
" Yes but we need to finish that kiss" he smirks.
You hop up and flash a smile then walk into the spare room where the porta-cot is set up and place grayson down gently, kiss him on the forehead and walk back into the luonge room where Aaron is sprawled over the couch snoring lightly
You sit on the coffee table within arms reach of the couch and kiss him lightly. he's so sweet when he's asleep.
