You sit in the sand around a medium sized bonfire at the beach. You and your boyfriend of 6 months, Matt were snuggled next to each other with a fluffy caramel blanket over your shoulders.
Matt props an earphone in your ear and you listen to some quiet music.
“Thanks for an amazing day Y/N” Matt says, rubbing your shoulder.
Matt leans back on a large log behind him. You lean back and kiss him lightly on the cheek, then lay gently on his chest. Matt pulls the blanket over both of you then pulls out his phone. He puts on your favourite song and you close your eyes as you feel his chest rise and fall under you. Matt puts a protective arm around you. He kisses your forehead and whispers,
“Y/N/N look up” He gasps.
You look up and see a meteor shower against the midnight sky and full moon.
“Wow” you breathe
“I did it just for you” Matt smiles.
“I didn't know your were a god” you laugh, still staring at the sky.
“I'm not.... but I look like one” Matt says, flexed his muscles and chuckles.
“aha you show-off! Love you though” you laugh and kiss him on the lips before he can reply.
He kisses back and his cold hands touch your face gently. He's so gentle with you.Your rest your hands on his shoulders and your kisses grow deeper
You move into Matt's lap and he readjusts his hands so they hold your tiny waist.As the heat dies down Matt takes your hands softly and looks you in the eye.
“I seriously adore you Y/N. You are my world and nobody will ever change that.”
You smile and look down,
“You saved me Matt. And I love you more everyday because of it.”
“Well, you are a princess, and every princess needs saving.”
You kiss him one last time before snuggling into him again.
“You are my everything.” you tell him.
Matt looks down at you and wrapped the blanket around you two again. You close your eyes as Matt caresses your hair. You both fall asleep and only wake up when someone shakes you awake. You both stretch and watch the sunrise. You take a walk down the beach and as you walk, you collect shells, but you never let go of each others hands.
“This one looks like a heart” Matt points out.
“Yea, I made that for you” You smile.
“what are you a goddess or something?” Matt laughs.
“Depends on who you ask” you retort.
“i would say you are” Matt breathes as he kisses you gently.
You stand on your toes and kiss hm back, as the tide laps your feet.
