Hayes Grier-Football

You walk into the bleachers on a sunny afternoon to see your star quarterback boyfriend, Hayes practising field runs. It was the last fifteen minutes of a two hour training but he showed no signs of exhaustion, unlike many of the other boys. You walk over and sit with the other football girlfriends. Being Cheer captain, you decided that it was a good idea that you wrap up practice early so you could watch your team train for the Grand Final Game. Most of the cheer squad had football boyfriends too so that was a plus!

The boys jog over to the coach, as Hayes jogs, he slides his helmet off and flicks his hair smiling to himself. He looks up to the bleachers, his eyes searching for you. Your eyes met his and he lights up, he waves and smiles and you smile and giggle slightly in reply waving back to your dofus.

You sit and talk with the girls some more while the boys get changed and, hopefully, shower. As the bleachers get shady Hayes comes around the corner. Wearing his red PE shorts, and a black hoodie with his grass stained shoes tied to his shoulder-slung bag he calls out;

“Hey babe! Did I look hot out there?”

You race across the bleachers and stop infront of him. You stand on your toes and smile;

“Totally”, you say and kiss him passionately. He puts his arms around your waist and hugs you tight.

“God, I love you”, Hayes says breaking the kiss and resting his forehead on yours. He smiles and kisses your freckled nose.

You blush slightly and smile.

"I love you too Hayes, you are going to smash this Saturday!”

You two start to walk hand in hand towards the bus stop.

“I hope so! Apparently I have a full game so I am going to bring it!” he laughs.

“Can't wait aha are you catching the bus home?”

“Well actually, I was hoping that you and I could get some fro-yo at that new place a few blocks away” he asks kissing your cheek lightly.

“Ooo yea! I have been dying to get there!” you laugh.

You catch the bus to the mall and you walk down the boulevard eating your fro-yo.

As it hits sunset you both catch your separate buses home.

You get a text as you paint you nails shimmery black and red.

It's from Hayes:

'hey babe, just checking you got home safe. I'm heading to bed I'm exhausted :) I love you so much, you mean the world to me. See you tomorrow <3'

You smile to yourself. He's so kind and sweet. You reply to him:

'I did babe thnx for asking xxx I hope you got home safe too. Ok I love you sooo much. Sleep well c u tomorrow <3'

Once your nails dry, you clamber into bed and check out your social media. On Instagram, you scroll through and then you see something. Hayes posted a cute picture of you with your frozen yoghurt with the caption;

'Spent my afternoon after training with my gorgeous girl <3 love you babe x @Y/IG/N'

You turn your phone off and smile to yourself. He's perfect.
