When you love someone
All their 'flaws' don't make you mad
or annoyed or upset
To you, they're perfect
.
.
.
... Until the very last second
They pull of the trigger of the gun
and the bullet feels like a knife in your back
and you realize that those weren't flaws of a human
but a flawed personality of a person who thought so little about you
as to throw you away like empty alcohol bottles
the same bottle you were drinking when you decided they were harmless
and now you say that you don't drink
But you were clearly drunk in love
A/N: Hi! What do you think? Love it, or could be better? I would really appreciate constructive criticism.
Also, We reached #845 in poem!! Thanks for all the support. A special shoutout to @mel2578844 for being a cool person and for the support. Really appreaciate that.
Love you guys.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
I do not mean that people with flaws are traitors. Everyone has them. I imagined this poem from the person who was betrayed writing in a third person's point of view. The first stanza just mean that the narrator thought that they were flaws, and ingored them because eveyone has those. True, but those were just red flags of behavior that should have been not ingnored as flaws. Hope that made it clear.
