Now matter how hard you tried

You couldn't look out for the war that's inside.

Because it doesn't matter how big is your pride

You've done nothing but lied...

To your family

To your true friends

To yourself

You're a teen

Insecurity is an obnoxious roommate

that lowers your social status

Being broke is your job

And your teacher is the boss

Boredom is your paycheck

Disappointment is a bonus of that paycheck

and Awkwardness is your result

Dissatisfaction is your motivation

To get

Confidence as a girlfriend

That boosts your social status

Living in luxury is your job

And no one is your boss

Vacation is your paycheck

Happiness is a bonus to that paycheck

And Yet, Dissatisfaction is still your motivation.

and awkwardness will never leave you

A/N: Solution? You need a true friend whom you can trust. And yes, it is a 'whom' not a 'who.' Anyways, it's going to be fine. Right now you wouldn't believe me, but as consolation, you still haven't hit the rock bottom yet. College awaits you.
Also, shout-out to shipalisnehagounder. She is an amazing person.
Anyhow, I would be really happy if you guys could heck out my new book Unspoken Words. It's just a collection of sentences I came up with, but don't think I would use them. Thanks!
