Shunned Crystals
Tiny buttercups in the colorful autumn gardens let their petals droop
The glistening dewdrops like tiny jewels turn to shining pearls
First caress of gossamer mist descending like a battalion's troop
The world feels like a tiny snow globe while the frosty snow twirls
But still shunned out the homes, misunderstood, forgotten by all-
The first frozen tears that fall from the solemn gray clouds
While the earth beneath soaking up till the tears are dry
The children then play, running around without any doubts
Of no such care just pleasance underneath the limitless sky
But still shunned out the homes, misunderstood, forgotten by all-
The snow descends the earth, hiding away the barren lands
And soothe the burning furies of the hot and humid fall
Animals tucked underneath the ground by the snow's hands
But still shunned out the homes, misunderstood, forgotten by all-
It will lightly kiss the windows, doorsteps of the door
To beg for someone to give it the attention it seeks
The windows and doors are shut, so it lets out roar
But the curtains close and snow no longer can peek
But still shunned out the homes, misunderstood, forgotten by all-
For all magnificent powerful glory, revered by big and the small
But still shunned out the homes, misunderstood, forgotten by all...
