chapter 1

-Katniss Point of View-

'Beep beep beep beep' arggh stupid alarm clock.Today is my first day at Panem High School in California. I moved from Kentucky a week ago to live with my cousins Glimmer Silvers and Marvel Silvers, so I can get a job to pay for a good college. I hear my door squeaking open and I see Glimmer and Clove at my door, with their mouths hanging open. Because I was still in bed. Clove is Glimmers bff. I've seen her once before, Clove was about to say something. When glimmer walks in and says "kat get up were gonna be late for school and I wanna see my boyfriend" she moans.

I get up and have a shower. I braid my hair in a sholder plat and I walk back in my room with a towel around me. I see an outfit layed out on my bed for me, with a note attached 'kat heres your out fit dont change it! p.s HURRY UP!!xx'-glimmer.

I put on my top which is an sunset orange tank top with small iron on dimonds around the neckline. It ends just above my newly peiced belly button which Glimmer pressured me to get. Some bleached white high waisted ripped short jean shorts.

I run down stairs and grab an up and go and go out to find my car. I find glimmer and clove sitting in my new ferrari waiting for me I put my book-bag in to the car and I hop in and start the 10 min drive to school. -10 min later-

I hop out sling my book bag over my shoulder and follow Clove and Glimmer to the office. I went in and walked up to the receptionist 'hello dear' she says 'whats your name' 'Katniss Everdeen' I reply she gives me my schedule and my books and I walk out. I bump into some girls and they say 'hey girl whats your name?'Delly says 'Katniss' i reply 'so Catpiss i own this school so MOVE!!!' she screams 'why should i?' i reply

-Peeta Point of view-

I see delly and her minions messing with a new girl anger boils up inside of me she thinks she owns the school, i walk up to the unfriendly conversation and i push delly aside 'oi leave her alone' she flutters her eyelashes as she hopes she looks innocent and says 'why' 'because you dont own the school thats why' i snap back 'now you scatter' i hiss

i turn back to the girl and say 'sorry about delly and her minions she thinks she is popular and owns the school and everyone in it. whats your name?' i ask

'Katniss Everdeen' Katniss replied
