"i-i-wh-" keith gaped.
"stop stuttering, mullet. you look even stupider than you already are," lance said, still smirking™.
I must be dreaming, thought keith. i'm just going to go to the bathroom and brush my teeth, and come out and everything will be as usual. nothing out of the ordinary. nothing-
"nOPE, not gonna work, mullet. still going to be hERE!" said lance, interrupting keith's thoughts. "i'm sure you're baffled, confuzzled, whatever, but i can only be here for a while, so you better ask your questions quick."
keith just stared.
"HELLO? EARTH TO KEITH?" lance shouted.
"YOU LOOK LIKE YOU'VE JUST SEEN A GHOST!" said lance, still smirking. "oh wait, you have."
keith moved towards lance. he tenderly touched his face, but his hands just went right thru.
"wha- how-"
"damn it, keith! with your stupid stuttering my time's almost up!" said lance, throwing his hands up in exasperation.
"see you soon, pretty boy," he winked. and with that, he vanished.
keith collapsed on the bed.
